Sixth Seal - Heavens Like a Scroll

 "There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars."  Luke 21:25

And when He had opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake. And the sun became black, like sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken by a mighty wind. And the heaven departed like a scroll when it is rolled together. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Revelation 6:12-14

Tribulation Begins Fall 2008?
Q. Country-Unknown: A number of aspects regarding the Jewish calendar are raised in the enclosed article [asserting the Tribulation will begin this fall]. My aim with this communication is to ascertain the validity of these facts.

A. I'll get right to the point you want to know about. The claims in the attachment calling for the tribulation period to begin this fall are based on a faulty foundation and are wrong on a number of counts. Suffice it to say, the 7 year tribulation period IS NOT about to begin, though, like all the set-apart ones, I wish it were. A lot has to happen first, which these over-eager brethren entirely ignore. If you have been listening to our Tsiyon Revelation Series you know we have to get through the opening of all seven seals before the Tribulation will begin. This present Torah year marks the start of that process which will take a number of years from this point. Only after all of that will the tribulation period finally start. This will be within the generation Messiah foretold but later than much current speculation assumes. One of the things mentioned in the attachment is the Biblical signs in the sky. If you follow our programs on the sixth seal signs in the sky you will understand one of the big reasons why the calculations based on eclipses don't mean much, if anything. In a nut shell, these signs are outside the norm and cannot be precisely predicted by known astronomical cycles - much like the Torah calendar which requires an actual sighting of the moon to be certain. Other upcoming programs, and a book I am working on, deal with all these issues. Stay tuned! -Tsiyon

Conclusion - Puzzles in the Sky

Concluding Revelation Chapter Six, we find some amazing, if not apparently impossible, events prophesied. A solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse sporting a blood moon are foretold to occur at the same time. That would be an amazing sign, since the earth cannot be in two different places at once. How about stars falling like figs? Or did you ever wonder about this enigmatic statement? "And heaven departed like a scroll when it is rolled together" (Rev 6:14). These are a few of the brain-twisters of the sixth seal that people have puzzled over for centuries.

In this weeks program we will give you a satisfying solution to each of these enigmas. You will come to understand one unifying event that explains ALL these signs of the sixth seal. What is more, you will find out that science has already confirmed that everything foretold for the sixth seal (when rightly understood) is completely possible - even if terrifyingly awesome. Up until the point of the sixth seal all the obvious signs of travail in the earth have been of man's making. Then, at the sixth seal, a sign is released by the Lamb that comes forth obviously and directly from ABOVE. This sign is so much greater than anything that the wicked can handle that they will be profoundly terrified. So much so that they will be seeking to hide in the caves of the earth! The truth is, most everybody will hide.

This is all real. It is all going to happen. Odds are - in your lifetime. It will be the greatest spectacle the whole world has ever witnessed all together until that day. Understand this sign BEFORE it gets here!
