Focus On Israel - Hebraic Music Interview

Another Great Idea!

Don & Julie have come up with another great idea for getting out the word about Tsiyon. Here's what they said about it: We wanted you to see the card that we ordered from an online source that prints business cards. We wanted to have something when we're out and about to give to people to spread the word about your ministry. It's so exciting when the Holy Spirit leads us to leave one at a table we were sitting at, place one in a bill we're paying, I've even had the Holy Spirit put in my heart to leave one sitting by the napkins and butter for popcorn at the movie theater. Sometimes at the grocery store we don't have time to share all that we've learned in the checkout but to have this card to hand to the cashier helps a lot. It's so awesome to walk away with a smile on our faces knowing in our hearts that we've blessed others and let HIM lead each person to finding out who they are in HIM! This is just so exciting to be a part of doing something for HIM! Praise Yah!

Listener Comment Summary - 2012 End Date?
Listeners continue to email us predictions from Messianic and/or Christian teachers advocating the Tribulation in 2012, some with even a 2012 end date, asking us about them. Our answer to one of these below pretty much answers all of them.

Tsiyon Answer - NO 2012 End Date!
Regarding the predictions in the email you sent me: The time frame is too soon and some of the "facts" are off. There is no such thing as "Nibiru" for example. The prediction of "events of Revelation 9, between 2011 and the end of 2012" is simply too soon, as are the trumpet blasts of Revelation 8, predicted in the email within the same time frame. The stated prediction does not take into consideration the gathering of the remnant of Israel and the 2nd Exodus, which will not be completed prior to any 2012 end date. The "four angels" will continue to "hold back the four winds" of the Tribulation until that all-important work is complete, even though the "four winds" will continue to blow with ever-increasing intensity, signaling the coming end of the age (Rev 7:1).

Having said that, I don't mean to imply that we aren't seeing an escalation of troubles in both nature and the geopolitical situation. Many of the events and threats referred to in the email are real enough. Those that are real fit into the "birth pains" prophecy of Messiah:

See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains. Matt 24:6-8

I don't want to minimize the array of troubles coming over the horizon - birth pangs can be quite serious and do continue to intensify. They also involve some pretty serious shaking. Prophecy indicates millions of people on earth will die simply due to the "birth pains" - before we ever get to the Tribulation. This period is no picnic for believers either. As hatred from the world intensifies against believers, this period before the Tribulation will likely go on longer than any of us would like. Intense hatred from within and without will weed out many of those who are less than fully committed to Messiah's Kingdom - before we even get to the main event. A mass betrayal of believers by traitors and spies from within is yet to occur on a global scale within the "birth pains" period. Some faithful believers will be persecuted and put to death because of the betrayers:

Then they will deliver you up to oppression, and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name’s sake. Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another. Matt 24:9-10

All of this and more will occur before the Tribulation comes, and will call for great endurance on the part of the saints. As Messiah said:

He who endures to the end, the same will be saved.
                                                      Matt 24:13

And as He says in another place:

Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man. Luke 21:36

The train has left the station and is rolling down the tracks. I pray for all of us, that we will endure to the final destination.

Over at Hebrew Nation Radio, where they regularly broadcast Tsiyon Radio programs, they have been listening to out latest programs and were prompted by them to invite me for an interview. Frankly, they seemed to be in a spooky mood. At least, that's what I gathered from the emphasis on spiritual portals and related spooky subjects that they interviewed me about earlier this week. No complaints though, since I had no shortage of information to offer on these subjects. As usual, I had a great time with Don Wyant and his team, and I think the interview is something ..uh ..different ..that you will want to hear too. I've edited it down to the meat, formatted it for Tsiyon and I've posted it as this week's program. Let me know how you like it!
