I'm releasing this Tsiyon News a
little early due to the time-sensitive information herein.
If you've been in touch with the
news at all lately I probably don't have to tell you that we have arrived at a
time of significant transition. As two big examples, just since our last
Newsletter the Supreme Court of the US declared the definition of marriage
changed from what it has been for the past 6000 years and the Vatican signed a
treaty for the first time with the so-called "State of Palestine." Other
momentous changes on the world scene are in the pipeline to soon stun the world.
Meanwhile, here at Tsiyon we took
a break from continuing the Balaam story to bring you our program on the Tetrad
Blood Moons, right on cue to be playing during this week of earth-shaking
change. This Sabbath we conclude the Balaam story with the Affair of Peor, which
describes an evil plot that Balaam cooked up with the elite leaders of Israel's
enemies to lead Yah's people into sexual immorality and idolatry, to destroy
them. How timely is that story?
But there is another amazing and
timely event, while we are still on the Balaam story in our living Midrash. You
may recall in our last Midrash on Balaam (#112) we considered the prophecy
through Balaam regarding the "Star out of Jacob." If you haven't
heard that program, it is playing on Tsiyon Road over the next couple days along
with our latest program. Here is the passage about the star:
In that message I explained that
Messiah's birth was heralded by a literal "Star out of Jacob." Matthew 2
tells us of the wisemen from the east who came to the court of Herod in Judea
and said; “Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the
east, and have come to worship him.”
We
taught on this in the past, and we have a specal program with chronology charts
that explain the timing of Messiah's birth. That information explains how the star the
wisemen saw was actually a conjunction
of Jupiter and Venus, aligned so close as to appear as one great star, in
conjunction with the star Regulus, all occurring in the constellation of Leo the
lion (the sign of Judah). (Matt 2:2)
I can't explain all of this here,
but you can listen to what we've taught in the past on this, and I will also be
releasing more on this in the near future.
To summarize though, this extremely
rare conjunction tells the story of Messiah's birth in the signs of the
Mazzaroth, and was actually understood by the wisemen as the sign of Messiah's
birth, as per the prophecy of Balaam. [Gen 1:14, Job 38:32]
Using modern computer software, it is
possible to track that conjunction back to the exact date when it occurred. Here
is what that looked like from Jerusalem:
See how Jupiter and Venus are so
close as to make one very bright star, in conjunction with Regulus in the
constellation of Leo the Lion? Did you note the date of that conjunction: June
17, 2 BC? Did you notice that on that same Roman date of June 17 (2015 AD) we
were airing our latest Midrash containing Balaam's prophecy of this very event?
Does YHWH have the Midrash moving in step with Him or what?
Wait, there is more, as we
continue with the story of Balaam in our Midrash. Notice the news article below
entitled "Star Of Bethlehem — Closest Highly Visible Conjunction Of Venus &
Jupiter In 2000 Years On June 30, 2015." That's right. Essentially the same
conjunction that led the wisemen to Messiah is happening again, after 2000
years. It is in progress and is at its brightest June 30 and July 1, 2015. June
30 is the closest conjunction but July 1 it may appear bigger and brighter. Here
is a software image of that conjunction:
After the close conjunction making
them look like one bright star, of June 30/July 1, Jupiter and Venus will start
to move away from each other.
This time this very special sky
sign that reportedly hasn't been seen in 2000 years can't be seen in Israel. It
is located over America instead. If you live in the right location, and have
good atmospherics, you can view the show looking west above the horizon shortly
after sunset.
Wait, there is still more. Let me
tell you about Mike, who has been here with the Tsiyon Team since last fall. He
is an amateur astronomer and when he moved here, he brought his honkin huge
telescope, and awesome astronomy software, with him. The timing of YHWH is a
marvel, is it not? Using his software, Mike provided the pictures for you
that I have marked up for this newsletter. Last night he set up his telescope
here in Greater Austin so that we could view and verify this conjunction in the
making. Yes, its there, we all saw it. Except for the moon, it is the brightest
thing in the sky - so bright you might mistake it for a light on a tower, or
something like that. Of course, the wisemen had no such thing in the sky to
mistake the Messiah star for. Anyway, I asked Mike if we could continue to
track this conjunction with his telescope each night, and he agreed. If the
atmosphere cooperates, he will be taking pictures through his telescope to share
with you.
The dance of these heavenly bodies
in Leo, leading up to this close conjunction, began just before the stunning news
week we've just come through, and will continue for another week or more
thereafter. Many of us are interested in possible anticipated events within this
time-frame, and we will be watching to see what may happen and what correlation
there may be with this constellation.
So what does this all mean? Right
now we are gathering the data, and listening to YHWH. I will have a lot more to
say at the end of this process. For now I'll say this: the timing of this is no
accident after 2000 years, in the midst of the Blood Moons of Passover and Succot. Of course, the
Evangelicals will all see this as a sign of an impending "rapture of the
Church." It doesn't mean that. This is not about "the Church" - it is about
Judah and Israel and, I believe, heralds positive changes for Israel that will
open up the way for the scattered remnant to return to the Land.

Star Of Bethlehem — Closest Highly Visible
Conjunction Of Venus & Jupiter In 2000 Years On June 30, 2015

After an absence of roughly 2000
years the Star of Bethlehem may soon be making a return to our night skies on
June 30, 2015 — to be more specific Venus and Jupiter will be making their
tightest highly visible conjunction in nearly two millennia.
The reference to the Star of
Bethlehem is with regard to the fact that there was a very similar ultratight
conjunction between the two — and close by the star Regulus (as this one will
be), and high up in the sky (as this will be as well) — in 3-2 BC. Some
astronomers have in the past speculated that this earlier conjunction is what
the “Star of Bethlehem” referred to.
At the very least this conjunction
will make for a very impressive sight in the night’s sky. The two bright planets
have already begun moving closer and closer together in the last evening sky
over the past month, this convergence will continue until the evening of June
30, 2015. Those interested should look in the western portion of the evening sky
to see the conjunction. Roughly an hour or so after sunset is probably a good
time — but obviously there’s some flexibility there.
Relatively close to this
conjunction will be one of the brightest stars in the constellation of the Lion,
the star Regulus. As mentioned above, the ultratight Jupiter-Venus conjunction
back around 3-2 BC was also located near this very bright star.
While the tightest conjunction
will be on the night/evening of June 30, there’ll be a week or so of impressive
sights in the days before and after the conjunction.
On the night of June 30th the two
planets will so close enough together that they’ll appear to a very bright
“double star” — with the outstretched tip of a pinky finger reportedly being
enough to cover both up.
Worth noting is that while the two
planets vary considerably in size, they’ll appear roughly the same size in the
night’s sky owing to Venus being considerably closer than Jupiter. For those
wondering, Venus is the brighter one that moves around more (as it follows the
Sun around on its path through the sky).
