From Eliyahu

Hello friends,

The name "Jesus Christ" elicits the Gentile "Jesus" to mind, while the name "Y'shua Messiah" calls forth an awareness of a much more Hebraic persona. The differences in perception begin there, but certainly don't end there. Commonly, he is accepted as an actual historical figure. Yet, some say he never existed at all, even though he literally stands at the center of all history. The Moslems call him "Isa." They do not see Isa as the "Messiah" or the "Son of God." They hold that he was a prophet. One Gnostic view is that "Jesus" was not the Son of God born as a man, but was simply an ordinary human who happened to attain divinity through gnosis, and then taught his disciples to do the same. On a rather bizarre note, the claim is made by some that "Jesus" was a Buddhist Monk. Even more bizarre, some claim that he was the leader of a roving band of homosexuals. Terrorists and/or "freedom fighters" say he was one of them. The wild claims go on endlessly about the amazing man from Nazareth.

One could argue that this huge diversity of opinion about him is due to obscurity, due to the passage of many years. However, even in his own time, among his own people, there was great disagreement about just who he was. A healer, a prophet, a miracle worker. Elijah, Jeremiah or some other prophet raised from the dead. A rabble-rouser, a trouble maker, a teacher, a religious leader, a king. Who was he? Who is he?

"Who do you say that I am?" he asked. Matthew 16:15

This is a profoundly important question for us all. Those who don't really know the answer would do well to stop guessing and seek out the truth. Those who have been granted that revelation have an even bigger task: to meet the demands that knowledge of "the Messiah, the Son of the Living God!" entails.

"What demands?" you ask.

Why, the demands Messiah Himself lays upon those who have received the revelation of Who He is.

Some very sizable demands go along with that revelation, and, these are included in Matthew 16, which will be under discussion at our Tsiyon Meeting tonight. Join us online at 8 PM CST at Tsiyon.Net, as we consider this vitally important word.

Hi Remnant People!

Shelia here. It's time to give you our latest report for the Tsiyon building project.

If you look closely at our first picture you can see that interior walls are framed in now.

In our second picture the floor joists for the second floor are starting to go in.

Hi! That's me on the ladder!  :-)

Our third photo looks up toward the 2nd floor to show floor joists with sub-floor under way.

Our final photo looks up through the area where our stairs are being installed. It only seems like we are building all the way to the clouds, in this interesting photo!

Imagine, all of this project is being done by ordinary people just like you, our dedicated Tsiyon volunteers. That's why we are so proud of it!

Oh, yes. One other thing this week, we put in a big order for materials and supplies for building the second floor, but we still need to pay that bill.
