“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of YHWH is risen on you.
For, behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples;
but YHWH will arise on you, and his glory shall be seen on you."

From Eliyahu

Hello friends,

A light against the darknessAbout 2000 years ago a great light came into the world. He was none other than the Son of God, Y'shua our Messiah. He shined brightly during His stay as a man on earth. That stay was destined to be brief, and was destined to end with a massive backlash from the darkness. None of that was unanticipated. All of it, was, in fact, figured into the divine stratagem.

Y'shua came here, not only to save us from sin and death, but also to raise up the Kingdom of Light in the earth. In the ultimate sense there are only two kingdoms. the Kingdom of Light and the Domain of Darkness, as Scripture reveals:

[We are always] giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the holy ones in light; who delivered us out of the domain of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love; in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins..  Colossians 1:12-14

Yes, being delivered out of the Domain of Darkness and into the Kingdom of the Son of His Love, the Kingdom of Light, is a gift of grace, for which all of His own should be grateful. Yet, that very gift of grace puts us at odds with the forces of darkness, in a constant state of warfare. Warfare is not a merely personal endeavor. It takes a well organized and disciplined army to win a war, even more so a spiritual one.

While He was with us Messiah laid the structure in place for the Kingdom, organizing His people for the war against the darkness. In Mark 3 we begin to see that Kingdom structure come together, that would put Messiah's people in good stead after His return to heaven. The light that Messiah lit in the world was highly effective for that first generation of well-organized followers, bringing the battle to the enemy in victory throughout the known world.

So why don't we see believers today having the same level of victory? This is a question many wonder about.

Many blame the rise of the Catholic Church in the 4th century. In fact, Martin Luther and the reformers saw the Catholic Church as the anti-christ beast of Revelation. The Protestant break from the Catholic Church was a great step forward to be sure, but, that was 500 years ago. If the Catholic Church was the obstacle, then why has Protestant Europe all but sunk into total unbelief by this year, 2018? Why is Church attendance, even in the USA, at an all-time low, and why are 70% of young people leaving the churches with many turning to occultism? Surely, we can't blame the Catholic Church for the failure of Protestant Christianity can we? There must be a deeper problem that goes back even further than the Catholic Church of the 4th century.

Justin created a new religionThe first century gave the Kingdom a great start in the world, but what happened after that? Actually, a look at the so-called "church fathers" starting with Justin Martyr of the 2nd century reveals the problem. In the 2nd century the overwhelming numbers of gentiles who had responded to the Good News didn't like the way the believing community had been organized. The family of Messiah were still overseeing the work, and they were all Jewish. The apostles had all been Jewish too, and even after the apostles died off, the leadership core continued to be Jewish. Further, the world-wide assembly of believers had always been seen by the leadership as Israel, still governed by the commandments, of Israel. In the 2nd century all things Jewish were looked down upon by the gentile world because of the Jewish wars with Rome - making life difficult for all believers, Jew and gentile alike. Justin, as a Roman, chose to distance himself from the Jewish Nazarenes, preferring to promote the Greek philosophers readily accepted by the gentiles. Justin's new gentile religion, mixing Christ with Greek philosophy, was well accepted by the gentiles and many of them joined. It was in that historical context that the "Christian Church" - the Gentile Church - was born; as gentile believers rebelled against the Hebraic authority structure that Y'shua had left in charge of the Messianic community in the world to go their own way.

The "Christian Church" [Gentile Church] claims that the Hebrew Nazarene believers were a schism of Christianity, a heresy. How is that possible, since the Nazarenes were the original believers? In truth, it was the gentiles that dissented, to form a break-away faction from the Nazarenes, divorcing themselves from the leadership first established by Messiah Himself. The 2nd century gentile faction went on to be viewed by the gentiles as "The Church", finally crystallizing into the Roman Church of the 4th century. And the rest, as they say, "is history."

Some would say that the dissent of the gentiles from the Nazarenes was a natural progression of the Church, leaving the Nazarenes to the dustbin of history. But is that what the Scriptures say? Notice this:

Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.    Galatians 5:19-21

The Church is dividedClearly, the Scriptures tell us that divisions from the original established leadership are among "deeds of the flesh." Put the opposite way, such dissentions are not of God. There really is no way to get around this: the gentile Church exists because of the self-will of the dissenting gentiles, not by the Holy Spirit. Now, please don't get me wrong here. I'm not saying all denominational Christians aren't saved. Everyone who puts real faith in Messiah is saved. I'm talking about leadership, not salvation. What I am saying is that denominational Christianity has long been cut off from the original Kingdom leadership that Messiah established, and has continued to be so. The schism spirit behind the original gentile dissenters continues to infest Christendom, and has led to the multiplication of thousands of schisms within that group, in fact, giving us countless denominations of Christianity. Each denomination of Christianity has its own leadership, with dissenters against that. All of this leaves Christendom hopelessly divided, and therefore, unable to mount any kind of unified defense against the spiritual forces of darkness in the world.

Only the unified Kingdom of Messiah can overcome. Be sure of this: YHWH did not depart from what He sent His Son to establish. In Mark 3 we find a cooperation going on between Messiah, Messiah's family, and the apostles Messiah appointed. In other words, we see Messiah lighting a flame of leadership for the Kingdom! It may seem impossible for believers today to get back to that established leadership, but our Father is the God of the impossible! Moreover, only the leadership that Messiah Himself established can restore unity to all true believers, to lead us on to victory over the powers of darkness in this world. There is no "plan b" - only "plan a" will work. It has always been so and it still is.

Fear not. Messiah has not abandoned His original plan, but is sure to bring it to pass. Messiah will have a unified people in the earth, and they will be faithful Israel, organized within the Kingdom government Messiah came to establish. Once faithful Israel is restored and brought to completion, "the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Believe it!

Join me for our Tsiyon meeting at Tsiyon.Net at 8 PM CST to learn the hidden meaning of Mark 3.

Shalom,

PS - In our Daniel programs we began directing attention to Turkey before Turkey started making major news. Since then Turkey has made major strides toward rebuilding the Ottoman Empire, with news of the latest moves below.

****************************************

Some people are gamblers and others are just downright insane.  Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey appears to be shifting from political gambler to a completely insane autocrat.  Turkey’s current invasion of the autonomous Syrian Kurdish enclave of Afrin has not only unnerved the United States, who is the main backer of the the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), but Russia’s Putin as well.  Given the neo Cold War relationship between Russia and the USA, Erdogan has actually accomplished an astounding feet.

Due to the SDF’s American training and advanced weaponry, Turkey has found its operation harder than originally expected.  Most leaders would stop after watching a number of their tanks get blown up in the first hours of combat, but this has made Erdogan more set on invading the Kurdish areas of Northern Syria.  He claims that he will move South into Idlib as well as moving forces into the Kurdish heartland of Manbij which hosts a sizable American base.

“We will rid Manbij of terrorists, as it was promised to us, and our battles will continue until no terrorist is left until our border with Iraq,” Mr Erdogan said this past Friday.

This maneuver alone brings Erdogan close to a direct confrontation with US soldiers who according to reports have not planned on moving aside for Turkey’s assault.

As far as the possibility of the US pulling its forces from the Manbig, General Joseph Votel, head of the United States Central Command, Speaking on CNN, said that withdrawing US forces from the strategically important city is “not something we are looking into.”

Yet Erdogan insists he is in the right as his Turkish forces are simply destroying “terrorists.”  The question is whether Erdogan will actually make a move against US forces in Manbij.  For the US, there has been no question that its position in the area is not only just, but necessary.

“Turkey knows where our forces are in Manbij, and what they are doing there, and why they are there –to prevent any kind of escalation between the groups who are in that area,” Dillon told Rudaw TV. “The Coalition will continue to support our Syrian Democratic Forces in the fight against ISIS. We have said this all along, and we have said this with the Kurdish elements of the SDF. We will provide them equipment as necessary to defeat ISIS.”

As if this was not enough, Erdogan’s move South to Idlib brings Russia into the mix.

With Russia appearing not to decide to move out of the way for Erdogan’s scheme to rebuild the Ottoman Empire, the die is cast for a very explosive expansion of the Syrian war.

See this video! - September 23, 2017, we were told, would be the date of The Great Sign of Revelation 12. Dire end-of-the-world predictions were made. Yet, after that day of "The Great Sign" came and went, and the predictions failed to materialize, we heard little if anything explaining the failure. This was not the first time this has happened, and won't be the last. Why? Signs in the sky are foretold in Scripture for the last days. True to that prophecy, unusual heavenly signs do occur. In fact, signs in the sky often cause a clamor, with predictions of rapture and the end of the world. Yet, these signs come and go, and the predicted events fail to happen. This, of course, provides an opportunity for scoffers to gloat. Why does this keep happening? Could it be that these signs are significant, but they mean something different than YouTube preachers have guessed? There is, in fact, a unified message in these sky signs. This video, "The Heavens Speak" reveals what that message is.
