New Stations
We are pleased to announce that two new stations will soon be carrying our On the Road to Tsiyon radio program as part of their regular M-F lineup. Broadcasts will begin on November 2nd. The new stations are:

Tsiyon Answer: Here is the transfiguration account:
He said to them, "Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power." After six days Yeshua took with him Peter, Jacob, and Yochanan, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form (transfigured) in front of them. His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Yeshua. Peter answered Yeshua, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. For he didn’t know what to say, for they were very afraid. A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, "This is my beloved Son. Listen to him." Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them any more, except Yeshua only. As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead. (Mark 9:1-9, see also Matthew 17:1-3 and Luke 9:28-36).

The 1st verse tells us what this is about. Messiah told the disciples that some of them, in this life, would "see the Kingdom of God come with power." Here is an amplified translation of that phrase: see/know (G1492 to know by seeing) the Royalty (G932) of God appear (G2064) in (G1722) miraculous power (G1411). (The numbers indicate where the definition of the preceding Greek word can be found in Strong's Dictionary.)
"..know by seeing the Royalty of God appear in miraculous power."
As the Messiah of the line of David, and as Son of God, Y'shua embodies "the Royalty of God." Yet, the full reality of that Royal Essence was shrouded by human flesh and was therefore unseen by human eyes. The promise of Mark 1:1 is that some of those disciples in the present age, would see/know the reality of "the Royalty of God" that is resident in Messiah "appear in miraculous power." The transfiguration story that immediately follows starting with verse 2 tells us how that happened.
Three witnesses, "Peter, Jacob, and Yochanan," saw this display of "miraculous power" in which the Royal Essence of Messiah shone brightly through the human flesh of Y'shua Messiah. They saw and knew the inner Man they were observing. At once they were seeing the unchanging Spirit of Messiah as He has always been in His pre-existence, during His time as a man on earth with us, and forever thereafter as King of the Kingdom. They saw/knew the truth that the Kingdom we all long for has its eternal reality in the Person of Y'shua Messiah! Through this they knew that the Kingdom is inevitable and that entrance of the redeemed into it is only a matter of the passage of time. The essence of Who Y'shua truly is guarantees the reality of all the Kingdom promises that are tied up in His Royal Person!
What they saw happen is defined by the word "transfiguration." In the Greek this word is metamorpho (G3339). It is a verb that means to change form. In this case it means to change the form of the outside to match the inside. The Royal Essence of Messiah was revealed in this display of "miraculous power!" In this display "His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them" as His absolute holy and powerful essence of Light brightly shone through.
"Peter, Jacob, and Yochanan," the three witnesses, also saw three other witnesses to the truth of just Who Y'shua Messiah really is. Those three witnesses were, Moses, standing for the Torah, Elijah, standing for the prophets, and the voice of Father YHWH saying; "This is my beloved Son. Listen to him."
Here we have two sets of three witnesses testifying to Y'shua as Messiah. All of this was to doubly fulfill the requirement of Torah:
"..at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall a matter be established." Deut 19:15
The absolute certainty of Y'shua as Messiah was established beyond reasonable question by what the three witnesses saw that day. This was no fable, but was an experience that was burned into the consciousness of the three witnesses. We see this in their lives and in their deaths. All three were willing to suffer martyrdom rather than renounce Y'shua. You don't do that defending a fable. Years after the transfiguration event what Peter, one of those witnesses, had seen on that amazing day was still fresh in his mind. He tells us the significance for us of that event:
For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." We heard this voice come out of heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain. 2 Peter 1:16-18
All of this goes to the fact that when we put our faith in Y'shua Messiah we are not following after some deceptive fable. Rather, we have put our trust in One Who is proven beyond all doubt to be Who He has been represented to be: Y'shua Messiah, Son of Man, Son of Abraham, Son of David, Son of God - Our eternal Savior and King. To Him be glory forever and ever to all the Ages. For He alone is worthy of the Kingdom! Upon Him alone all hope depends.
Our listeners offer the most wonderful feedback and comments, and Dawn and I love to receive them. I was especially blessed in answering the listener feedback question above. The significance of the Transfiguration, absolutely testifying to Y'shua as our Messiah, is profound. This certainty must not be lost on this generation of the Remnant. Our end-time mission is absolutely dependant upon Y'shua our Messiah, and the Transfiguration event is a sure guarantee that He is with us and is Personally directing the fulfillment of ALL of the end-time promises given to His people through which He is bringing in His Kingdom! This week's radio program underscores His intentions for our generation - the very things that must happen. May each of us offer ourselves willingly in His service to accomplish His purposes in the earth by the strength of His Kingdom power!
