Listener Comment: I have a quick question for you, really I am asking for your opinion on the Council of Nicea. I was talking with a preacher the other day, and he said that the trinity is not real but is something that was created at the Council of Nicea. Now I know that Constantine was the one who presided over the meeting, and I also know of his hatred toward the Hebrew people, and that he was still involved in paganism. Is the trinity a result of the council of Nicea? And how do we deal with verses from the Torah like Deut. 6:4.

Tsiyon Answer:  Your preacher friend is basically correct about the Council of Nicea and Constantine. Meaning, the Trinity is not exactly correct. It was created as a political formula to unite the Empire.

However, that does not mean that Y'shua is not divine. For more on that see Chapter Two of my book, Holy Order Restored.

Here is Deut 6:4:

"Hear, Israel: YHWH is our Elohim; YHWH is one (H259 echad)."

Elohim (God) is a plural word. One (echad) means a unity of two or more in one, as in these definitions of the word echad:

"A numeral from H258; properly united" STRONG'S

"Two or more coming together as a unity. The sharp edge of a blade is the coming together of the two to one point." AHLB

The divinity of the Son of God alongside the Father is well established in Scripture, with no need of an extra-biblical dogma, as these programs explain: programs #18-19, 184-190

Listener Comment:  I received an e-mail about the kingdom shekel. I heard your discussion. I have known that the money was going to fail at some point for many years. I was wondering if I could order 100 of them? For years I have been praying and asking what I should do because I don't understand the buying and selling of gold and silver. What you are doing makes sense. I am a widow. My husband is dead 3 years now. I am going to be 70 but have been praying that God keeps me strong like Caleb so I can take a mountain and also what to do about having some precious gold and silver to work with. I never understood what to do. ..I have 10 children and their families and this is a one time thing for me but at least we would have something.
