Listener Comment - Listener Sees Scripture Fulfilled at Tsiyon. Okay I have to tell you this because I thought of you Eliyahu when I read Jeremiah 16:14-20.

God Will Restore Israel
¹⁴ “Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that it shall no more be said, ‘The LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ ¹⁵ but, ‘The LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers.
¹⁶ “Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says the LORD, “and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. ¹⁷ For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity hidden from My eyes. ¹⁸ And first I will repay double for their iniquity and their sin, because they have defiled My land; they have filled My inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable and abominable idols.” ¹⁹ O LORD, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction,

      The Gentiles shall come to You
      From the ends of the earth and say,

      “ Surely our fathers have inherited lies,
      Worthlessness and unprofitable things.”

In verse sixteen is what hit me. So correct me if I am wrong but isn’t this a positive statement. Because right before this verse YHWH is talking about the remnant. Since He is stating that He will bring them back to their own land then this means to me a restoration process. So YHWH is talking about restoring the remnant and He will have many fisherman.

You are the first person that I know that really stated that you are looking for the remnant. You weren’t talking about the blood remnant but the faithful remnant. The ones that were faithful to Messiah and who were grafted into the olive tree. So when I read this I thought of you because you have been fishing the banks, the shallow parts, the deep parts, the weeds and the brushy piles. You cast the line and Yahshua set the hook! Because of your faithfulness in obedience to Yahshua the Messiah many have indeed said “our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things.”

I hope I haven’t taken these scriptures out of context but to me they spoke to me. But if I have please let me know. I do see other things in these scriptures of YHWH’s wrath but I also see His second chance Love to those who believe.
