Serious Listener Loyalty!
Don and Julie are amazing! They love Tsiyon Radio and they want to share it with everybody, everywhere they go. Their solution for doing that is this nifty bumper sticker that they created and stuck on their car. I'm told it is the only sticker on the car of people who normally don't put stickers on their car. Frankly, I'm floored!
From Dawn - Especially for Tsiyon Partners and Former Partners
If you are a Tsiyon Ministry Partner (or former partner), then chances are you have signed up through the PayPal financial online services for a subscription plan. PayPal.Com is a service which allows your credit card or bank account to be billed monthly for your partnership subscription. Usually the monthly subscription plan works without a hitch, but every now and then something unexpected happens. One such unexpected occurrence has recently come to our attention, and it may or may not be impacting you—so we thought we would take a moment to draw your attention to it.
Recently, we have found out that if the credit card you used when you signed up for your Tsiyon Ministry Partnership at our website is cancelled or reaches its expiration date, PayPal automatically cancels your subscription! The way they do it is confusing too. Paypal sends out two emails. One email goes to you saying your subscription plan was cancelled. It doesn’t mention the reason. The other email is sent to Tsiyon and it says that you cancelled your membership. The actual reason the membership was cancelled is due to the expired credit card (or closed bank account, or closed credit card). The PayPal computer system is set to automatically cancel the subscription plan and send out the two notification emails without saying why.
As a result, some ministry partners do not even realize their ministry support has ended. Still others assume we cancelled their partnership for some reason—which couldn’t be farther from the truth!
So what can you do about this if this has happened to you? You can re-sign up for a Tsiyon Ministry Partner subscription plan and simply continue your membership. You can also become a partner by postal mail (monthly or yearly) if you would prefer. Our address is at the bottom of every Tsiyon News.
How can you tell if your subscription is active? You can visit PayPal.Com and log in. Then click on the “History” tab. Once the history screen loads, you will see an option in the middle of the page to click on the “Subscriptions” link. You will then see your subscription history. If you do not see any transactions listed, try increasing the dates you are searching. If your subscription has been cancelled due to one of these issues, as mentioned above, you should see the word “Canceled” in the “Payment Status” field along with the date the subscription ended.
We hope this information will be useful to you. Thank you so much to the wonderful men and women who partner with us to help get the message out. We really appreciate your support! Eliyahu and I couldn’t do what we do each week without you. We are regularly hearing from new people who have heard the program for the first time on their local radio station. Your support is impacting the lives of others for the Kingdom! May Messiah bless you and your loved ones.
From Eliyahu - Yom Teruah
Sometime between now and our next Tsiyon News will be Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets, The Day of Shouting. It will fall on either September 8 or 9 this year here. Which day? I don't know, but I'm not alone in not knowing. From ancient times Yom Teruah has been called "the day no one knows" because it comes with the first visible crescent of the seventh month, and you have to actually observe through the dark of the moon to see when that happens. "No one knows" for sure what that day will be in advance. The most important thing about Yom Teruah is this - it is the feast day on which the last shofar will sound and Messiah will Return, and the Elect of every age will meet Him in the air! He said; "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone" (Matt 24:36). In saying "that day and hour no one knows" Messiah was using a saying that His listeners would understand to mean Yom Teruah. That's what the trumpet blast and the shouting is all about. It's a rehearsal for the day when we will be reunited with our Lord forever. So friends, have a very joyful Yom Teruah, both this one coming up and the mother of every Yom Teruah yet to come!
Blessings and Shalom,
