| Now Cush became the father of The Rebel; he became a mighty one on the earth. He was a mighty hunter in the face of YHWH; therefore it is said; "Like The Rebel, a mighty hunter in the face of YHWH." Genesis 10:8-9 |

New Jerusalem a Pyramid? Isaiah 19:19,20 (NIV), is a very
cryptic prophecy pertaining to the Last Days: “In that day there
will be an altar to the Lord in the heart of Egypt, and a monument
to the Lord at its border. It will be a sign and witness to the Lord
Almighty in the land of Egypt.” [the writer goes on in a lengthy
email defending the idea that the altar/monument of this verse is
the Great Pyramid, and that the New Jerusalem is also in the shape
of a pyramid.]
Tsiyon Answer -
New Jerusalem NOT a Pyramid! Thanks for
listening to Tsiyon Radio. You have sent me a lengthy teaching
which is too much to answer in detail by email. However, I have
taught on some of the concepts presented. You can read what I've
taught on the shape of the New Jerusalem in these programs:

As for Isaiah 19:19,20 referring to the Great Pyramid as the
last days monument in Egypt - this sounds good at first but on
further thought is logically flawed. "In that day" refers to the
end time. However, the Great Pyramid has been in its current
location virtually unchanged for many centuries - it is not a
last days monument.
Further, the context of the verse with its surrounding passages
makes clear that the "monument" will be erected "in that day" to
signify a yet-future event - when YHWH will send a savior to
save Egypt from future troubles. A pillar will then be erected
by those rescued Egyptians in honor of those yet-future events.
Again, the Great Pyramid does not meet the context of the
passage.
While there are many who would like to sell us on the idea
of pyramids as somehow being associated with YHWH the truth is
that these structures are always associated with the heathen and
never with the righteous. There is simply no way that Yah's
dwelling is, ever was, or ever will be a pyramid. Actually, the
Most Holy of the Tabernacle, the Tent of David which housed the
Ark, and the Most Holy of the Temple were all shaped as perfect
cubes. Since each of these locations were dwelling places of
YHWH it is clear that His dwelling place is pictured as a cube -
as is the New Jerusalem described in Rev 21:16. If any doubt
about this remains consider this verse as translated from the
Aramaic version.
And the city STOOD UP FOUR SQUARE; and its length was the same
as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, to
twelve furlongs of twelve thousand; and THE LENGTH AND THE
BREADTH AND THE HEIGHT OF IT WERE ALL EQUAL. Rev 21:16
I believe the cube shape is clear enough as translated from the
Greek version of the text, as translated in the KJV, the NASB
and many others. However, from the Aramaic this becomes
unmistakable since it tells us the city STOOD UP FOUR SQUARE and
THE LENGTH AND THE BREADTH AND THE HEIGHT OF IT WERE ALL EQUAL.
There is no other way to interpret that but as a perfect cube -
just like the other structures in which YHWH has dwelt with man.
Pyramids are historically favored by sorcerers of all types,
newagers, freemasons and other pagans - they have never been
favored by YHWH or His people. I would be very cautious about
the underlying motives of any teaching favoring pyramids.
From Eliyahu
- What About Egypt?
Isaiah 19, partially discussed above, is a message to Egypt. In view
of current events in Egypt, this prophecy now becomes a subject of
current interest. Notice how this prophecy begins:
The oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, YHWH is riding on a swift
cloud and is about to come to Egypt; The idols of Egypt will
tremble at His presence, And the heart of the Egyptians will
melt within them.
"So I will incite Egyptians against Egyptians; And they will each
fight against his brother and each against his neighbor, City
against city and kingdom against kingdom.
"Then the spirit of the Egyptians will be demoralized within them;
And I will confound their strategy, So that they will resort to
idols and ghosts of the dead And to mediums and spiritists.
"Moreover, I will deliver the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel
master, And a mighty king will rule over them," declares the
Lord YHWH of hosts. Isa 19:1-4
This certainly sounds a lot like what is happening in Egypt
right now! Very quickly a spirit of rebellion has arisen in
Egypt that has pitted Egyptian against Egyptian. Many are
concerned that, though Mubarak's regime, like all Islamic
regimes, has been repressive, it is likely far better for Egypt
then any Muslim Brotherhood replacement. Truly, as the prophecy
indicates above, a "cruel master" could very likely arise from
the midst of the turmoil who will be Egypt's worst nightmare. If
so, then even nature will turn against this tyrant, destroying
the Egyptian economy and bringing misery and terror to the
people. (Isa 19:5-16)

The
prophesy predicts a time in which once-mighty Egypt will be in fear of
Judah! This indicates worsening relations between the two countries.
Notice these words:
The
land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt; everyone to whom it is
mentioned will be in dread of it, because of the purpose of YHWH of
hosts which He is purposing against them. In that day five cities in
the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of Canaan and
swearing allegiance to YHWH of hosts; one will be called the City of
Destruction. Isa 19:17-18
The
"language of Canaan" is Hebrew, which will be spoken in five cities of
Egypt. One of these cities will be called, "the City of Destruction" -
this in an atmosphere in which Judah is a "terror" to Egypt. This could
be predicting a scenario in which a city of Egypt will be destroyed by
Israel, who will then take over that city and four others as well -
perhaps taking back the whole Sinai. While this all points to a dark
time coming for Egypt, YHWH has an amazing purpose in it.
Thus
YHWH will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know
YHWH in that day. ..YHWH will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so
they will return to YHWH, and He will respond to them and will heal
them .. saying, "Blessed is Egypt My people." Isa 19:21-25
Truly,
these are amazing days! In the next few years we can expect a continued
ramping up of geo-political pressure against Israel. As we have taught
on extensively already, this and other factors will likely lead to a
huge middle east war (I believe mid-decade is indicated) - probably an
atomic war. That war will completely de-fang Israel's surrounding
enemies and leave Israel with abundantly more land and a new and more
powerful position in the world. All of this will make the way for the
Return of the Remnant of the Twelve Tribes of Israel to Israel in the
Second Exodus. This could explain how Egypt could furnish a friendly
meeting place and starting point for the final trek home. As we consider
Yah's intentions toward Egypt we should note that His actions in
Israel's behalf are meant to be redemptive toward Egypt, and other
mid-east peoples as well. Pray for the righteous in those Islamic
countries that they may return to YHWH while there is yet time!
One other
thing: listen to our latest program. This is vital information.
