From Eliyahu
Dear friends,
We have reached the final chapter of Leviticus for this week's Midrash. I can
hardly believe, with this study, we have completed the entire book! This has
been a lot like deep sea diving into the heart of God! The deeper we have gone
the more different this book has proven to be than what we may have expected.
Whole new worlds of understanding have been opened to us, as we have come to
know and reverence Him better.
Also like deep sea diving, we can't return from this too quickly. We must make our way back to the surface slowly, offering us another chance to look at everything in this wondrous world again, this time from a larger perspective. In this week's program we will be considering Dedicated Things - and then we will begin our review of this amazing message direct from the mouth of YHWH.
Meanwhile, in this newsletter I am sharing some insightful comments from some of our Tsiyon members as they responded fresh from their latest episode of our Leviticus adventure. As you read them I know you will be taken back to the excitement we experienced as we explored this amazing book together.
Blessings and Shalom,
Eliyahu Ben David

Sacrifices in Leviticus, a soothing aroma,
this is what we learn, in the heart of the Torah!
The burnt offering, for reconciliation of sin,
a soothing aroma , pleasing to Him!
The idea, that now, He may commune,
the worshipper returns with a peace offering, real soon!
It is a peace offering to Yahweh, after sin was atoned,
Yeshua accomplishes this for us, our heart is His home!
The ceremonial ritual, of the sacrifice because of sin,
is an ordained sequence, leading to Him!
Pour blood, or sprinkle it, what’s the next step?
Thank Yahweh for Yeshua, in conquering His death!
The wickedness of sin was evident in His flesh,
just torn to pieces, yet Yahweh achieves rest!
Rest in the fact, that sin has been taken care of,
even the innocent dove, signifying His love from above!
The sweet smell of frankincense, wafts through the air,
knowing that Yeshua, takes us under His care!
His death and power of His blood,
makes up more forgiveness, than any sacrifice could of!
So next time you mistakenly create an error,
Praise Yahweh for Yeshua, Our High Priest is there!

I LOVED this teaching!
Eliyahu, you drew out all the wisdom that God planted in this chapter along with pointing out the loving spirit behind the regulations. My viewing perspective went from the valley to the mountain top, so to speak, concerning these dietary restrictions. In fact, I almost don’t want to call them “restrictions” anymore….I almost need to call them “precautions” instead.
The special bond with God that we achieve by honoring His guidelines as His precious people was the great revelation to consider. The benefits to being in that “special covenant relationship” place with THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE may be so much more than we can even imagine. Just consider Daniel, for instance….that special covenant connection to God the Creator and Ruler of the Universe was exactly what Daniel understood and wanted to preserve when he requested to be able to just eat the vegetables instead of the kings delicacies when he was brought into Babylon. Daniel was honoring the desires of The One True Living God and “marking” himself as one of His servants…by choice alone. Everyone else probably reasoned that since it wasn’t a grave sin to eat the defiled food, then why put up much of a fuss.
Well….Daniels commitment to God’s word paid off, because when it came time for the lions den episode…God “marked” Daniel as His obedient servant by shutting the mouths of the lions, but did not give the same recognition to the subsequent men thrown in behind him as they were quickly devoured. I now realize more fully what an awesome place we stand in when we CHOOSE voluntarily to walk in obedience to the statutes and regulations of our Loving Father…..It’s HUGE! We honor Him….He will honor us!
I pray that Yahweh will open up opportunities for me to share these insightful teachings with more of my loved ones and friends.
Thanks again for your time and dedication to these teachings…..you’re truly laying up your spiritual treasure.

This was such vital teaching that answered so many questions that have been running around my head for so long. Thank you for bringing this truth to us, may I have ears to continue hearing.
I would like to comment on another note which E mentioned; the state of the world right now and how things are moving forward so quickly. This past week I had to visit Malaysia and it was a real eye opener to spend time alone in a Muslim country and to see the fear that people are living in with the rise of ISIS in the Middle East; the general people are very afraid about it and it was palpable. The other thing was that I saw the news for the first time in ages and the presence of the Horsemen was so obvious! Islam, wars (Ukraine etc.), pestilence such as Ebola running rampant, food shortages, weather…and on and on.
We need to get rid of the old man and be set free from the old man and leprosy which contaminates. How I long and pray to be free. Praise YHWH. Thank you White Horse rider.

Thank You, Thank You…..I’m a bit behind in my Midrash studies because of summer activities with family from out of town, but I loved this teaching!….I loved this teaching!
I think this is one Midrash I’m going to bookmark and come back to periodically. I wish I had a better memory because there’s so much wisdom from these lessons that I would like to recall when the situations arise.
Eliyahu, you have a great sense of balance in the way you teach, and I know it’s not easy to strike the right balance between judgement and mercy….being like Messiah (both the lion and the lamb). I gain a lot of insight and wisdom listening to the three of you carefully reflecting on every aspect of Yahweh’s word, and I’m able to see where I need to temper my reactive and dogmatic personality when dealing with the myriad of spiritual matters of our household.
Jake, you’re very blessed to have such a wonderful role model as your Father, and it shows in you.

Words can never express what happened when I listened to this Midrash. All I can say is that
it pierced my heart.
This is the perfect picture of Messiah. How could anyone listen to this teaching and not prostrate himself or herself on the floor and beg for forgiveness for each and every moment they/we/ – I – have taken Him for granted? I do this even when I think I am not or have not.
I sobbed and sobbed after this one and am today still teary eyed writing or talking about it.
I pray to get all this teaching down inside of me so as to share with others.
It was so very powerful.
I think GRACE needs to be re-defined …..as discussed….grace DID NOT come FREE.
YHWH is so wise to have Eliyahu teach these Midrash from HIS heart so as to change ours…..
mine.
How sinful man is. How foolish man is…. How foolish I am and how sinful I am.
Forgive me Abba and make me pliable and fit for the Kingdom. Mold me with Your Torah. Change my heart …You are the potter. I am the clay.
2Timothy 2:19-22 However, the solid foundation of Elohim stands firm, having this seal, “
יהוה knows those who are His,” [Numbers 16:5] and, “Let everyone who names the Name of Messiah turn away from unrighteousness.” But in a large house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some unto value and some unto no value. If, then, anyone cleanses himself from these matters, he shall be a vessel unto value, having been set apart, of good use to the Master, having been prepared for every good work. And flee from the lusts of youth, but pursue righteousness, belief, love, peace with those calling on the Master out of a clean heart. The term “born again” is obviously like baptism (mikveh)….it happens over and over again….in fact this must be what “working out our salvation daily” means…..giving ourselves over to HIM…..
Philippians 2:12-13 So that, my beloved, as you always obeyed – not only in my presence, but now much rather in my absence – work out your own deliverance with fear and trembling, for it is Elohim who is working in you both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.
Our walk with HIM is a fluid….which, when faced with a paradigm shift which is in conflict with the Matrix and our brain washed state of mind, we alter our ways and our walk to ALIGN WITH HIM and what HE has shown us about HIMSELF and about ourselves. It is faith in action. It is simple obedience and consecration unto HIM. HUMBLING OURSELVES.
Matthew 11:29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble in heart, and you shall find rest for your beings.1 Footnote: 1Jer. 6:16.
2Corinthians 12:21 and lest, when I come again, my Elohim should humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the uncleanness, and whoring, and indecency which they have practiced.
James 4:6 But He gives greater favor. Because of this He says, “Elohim resists the proud, but gives favour to the humble.”
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Master, and He shall lift you up.
1Peter 3:8 To sum up, let all of you be like-minded, sympathetic, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, humble-minded,
1Peter 5:5 In the same way, you younger ones, be subject to elders. And gird yourselves with humility toward one another, for “Elohim resists the proud, but gives favour to the humble.”
1Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves, then, under the mighty hand of Elohim, so that He exalts you in due time,
SEEING OURSELVES AS BOND SERVANTS TO HIM AND HIM ALONE.
This, of course, is what the Patriarchs did with YHWH as well when they stopped and built an altar, or dug a well or pitched a tent – at points where HE worked in their hearts and they acknowledged HIM and HE acknowledged HIS covenant with them.
Note what Isaac did when YHWH met with HIM and made covenant with him:
Genesis 26:25 And he built an altar there, and called on the Name of
יהוה, and he pitched his tent there, and the servants of Yitsḥaq dug a well there. Each thing HE revealed to them was another aspect of HIS character and love for them and to their lineal descendants……us
This is what HE does with us in each Midrash.
Thank you Eliyahu for being a shepherd after His Own Heart and giving us what we need to prepare us for the return to His Land.
May each of us be invited.
P.S. I forgot something (hard to believe I know)….AZAZEL….linking this to Matthew Chap 4: 1
WAS simply…..REVELATION KNOWLEDGE downloaded to Eliyahu for us….
Never heard it taught this way….

Tsiyon Newsletter Dear Eliyahu, reading your newsletter I am thankful so, so, so much. Uplifting is weak word. It is dynamo to go through difficulties. And with the Israel-Gaza conflict we are in the midst of heat rage against Jews. One from our mishpocha members, sitting at the meal break, was witness to heat rage from co-workers. They “explained” him from scriptures how Jacob was deceiver, how Dina’s brothers were murderers, how Israel – 10tribes hate Jews and kill each other. The whole discussion was that there in scripture is prove that Israel is wrong and Gaza´s war right. And on the end…….lets Jews leave country. Hmmmmmm….yes but in His time. Hence,…… why your teaching is so important.

Wow. What a teaching! And what a call to a higher walk, only possible in Yeshua Messiah, thank you so much. I really enjoyed the newsletter this week, too.

Awesome teaching…what a difference this will make in a believer’s life when they see and conduct themselves as being one of Yeshua’s priests, living a life unpolluted by the world.

087 We must self examine often to ensure we are walking closely with HIM and we must be prepared to make the choices when we need to. I was most surprised from reading the newsletter closely about how it’s not the world we need to worry about but the leading astray and mixing of brethren who have fallen away. We know the falling away is prophesied but it is very hard.. all we can do is stay in the word and stay close to our lovely Messiah. I can’t wait to hear this weeks Midrash!
Tsiyon Member comments on: Liberty and Land – 088
WOW!!!!
I have heard you teach on the land before in an On the Road to Tsiyon Program however this was much more in depth and to step it out from chapter 25 of Leviticus….to see YAHWEH and HIS PERFECT PLAN for HIS NATION and HIS sheep ……it IS so MUCH MORE than we can ASK, THINK OR DESIRE!
We have neglected to trust and follow HIM…I repent of my forefather’s who made the judgments that brought us to this point but I am sure that, as a sinner, I would have probably made the same mistakes and probably, worse mistakes. Except for Y’SHUA where would I be? – where would we be?
You know just yesterday I was listening to the Midrash The Eternal Covenant from Genesis/Bereshit 17-18 and listened to all that HE offered our forefather Abraham and his woman Sarah. The living DEBAR – WORD – of YAHWEH HIMSELF came to Abraham and Sarah and offered them HIMSELF, HIS WILL, HIS WAYS, HIS PROTECTION, HIS SUSTENANCE, HIS BOUNTY…and they took it…..WE MUST DO THIS AS WELL!!!
YES ! YAHWEH has always had the same message….the message of true love, the message of true freedom. HE made a way for every situation in life so as to keep us FREE!!!
Our MESSIAH Y’SHUA DIED TO GIVE US THIS COVENANT. It is NOT “FREE” GRACE….YES FREELY BESTOWED ON THOSE WHO BELIEVE BUT IT WAS BOUGHT AT A HIGH PRICE AND TO HONOR HIM AND HIS SACRIFICE …..we MUST WALK IN IT…!!!
Why do we short sell YAHWEH? Why do we walk the way of the other nations, the strangers, why do we choose to be slaves to the foreigners. I must ask myself…Do I truly believe? Do I truly take HIM AT HIS WORD? Do I think the gifts I have are from my hand? Don’t I believe that HE provides ALL THAT I HAVE? Do I think I have to help HIM in all that pertains to life? Do I really believe the Scriptures are THE WORD OF YAHWEH?
How grievous it must be to HIM…..how we strive with HIS RUACH…..we bring shame on our Messiah by sinning and being disobedient…for showing our flesh nature to those around us who are lost and to those who believe the “candy” doctrine of the church today. Is it any wonder they don’t receive our message? IF we walked as this Midrash teaches us…in the right HEART attitude and the right “works” of OBEDIENCE, then we would be a light to the world. We would exhibit and proclaim YAHWEH on the earth….the seeds would be scattered…the peoples of the nations would come to know HIM. They would see HIM in us….as HE intended it to be.
NOW IS THE TIME!!!
I decide today to take every thought captive, to compare every thought, word and deed to what HE wants from me. I know I will fail but I was left weeping today over my false belief that I walk as HE wants me to walk and THAT WAS A FALSE ASSUMPTION…..I fall short of all that HE has asked of me and I repent and choose HIM and HIS ETERNAL COVENANT… I ask any of my brethren to forgive me for anything that I may have said or done that harmed you in any way.
WE MUST WALK TOGETHER in peace and security with one another ….LET IT BEGIN TODAY.
