Dear friends,
I'm sure you've been noticing the signs of the times in the news. Perhaps most significant in Bible prophecy are developments in the middle east. While Iran moves forward with its nuclear program ISIL continues to expand its hold in both Iraq and Syria, forming a large demonic dark cloud steadily moving toward the state of Israel. The PLO, meanwhile, is looking to the United Nations to establish a Palestinian state in the heart of Israel. In the past the USA has always blocked such moves in the UN. However, things have changed in US-Israel relations. For example, consider this headline: Crisis in U.S.-Israel Relations which contains a very troubling point of view that seems to me to be very threatening toward Israel[Here is the Israeli response]. Be aware the article contains some course language, which adds to the gravity of the story. Here is the part that especially got my interest:
Next year, the president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, will quite possibly seek full UN recognition for Palestine. I imagine that the U.S. will still try to block such a move in the Security Council, but it might do so by helping to craft a stridently anti-settlement resolution in its place. Such a resolution would isolate Israel from the international community.
It would also be unsurprising, post-November, to see the Obama administration take a step Netanyahu is loath to see it take: a public, full lay-down of the administration’s vision for a two-state solution, including maps delineating Israel’s borders. These borders, to Netanyahu's horror, would be based on 1967 lines, with significant West Bank settlement blocs attached to Israel in exchange for swapped land elsewhere. Such a lay-down would make explicit to Israel what the U.S. expects of it. Crisis in U.S.-Israel Relations
Since 2008 I have been pointing to the 2015 time-frame as a likely game-changer for Israel in the middle east. Lately, it seems like the whole global geo-political situation is contorting and twisting in unexpected ways just to set up such a scenario for that year. Right now, everything is pointing to a new roller-coaster ride starting in 2015 that could make 2001 and 2008 pale by comparison.
So what are we here at Tsiyon doing about it?
Perhaps you remember that in my last newsletter I said I had more to tell you about the events of the now past seventh month? Here's the big announcement! Our new building is now functional for congregation meetings. In fact, on the first day of Sukkot we officially established our new local congregation in our new Tsiyon Tabernacle building, with our first official congregation meeting being held there that day!

This Tsiyon Tabernacle congregation has two kinds of members. These are local members and remote members. We will also be making arrangements for other local congregations and local fellowship groups from around the world to be affiliated with us as well. Soon, when we have our video equipment fully installed and operating, our aim is to video-broadcast interactively to the entire Tsiyon family! This will allow remote members to participate right along with local members so that we can all get organized together! Congregation and group leaders will come on board and/or be raised up to participate in a united way with Tsiyon in gathering the Remnant of Israel and getting organized as a nation for the second exodus!
You may be wondering what the time-frame is that we are envisioning and why we are putting all this effort into the Tsiyon property. The property is important because it is a sort of hub and staging area for organizing the world-wide mission. That's why we continue to work on the Tsiyon property daily and hope to have everything up and functioning, YHWH willing, by early in the 2015 Shmita year! This is ambitious. However, we are hearing from more Tsiyon volunteers who are making time to come and help with the work. Your prayers and support can also make a big difference. As soon as the work is done on the property we will get busy identifying, training and empowering leaders to take up their places in the global battle lines of Remnant Israel. We have a job to do and a war to fight. Each of us alone must struggle for every inch of progress. Organized together in Messiah's mighty power we can PREVAIL! As the world situation changes we must change so that we will be ready to act when our opportunity comes.
This brings me to our new EBD Midrash series on the book of Bamidbar/Numbers. This book is about warfare by and against Israel. The truth contained in this book is absolutely vital for each one of us in this very hour. We start with the first chapter this Sabbath and will continue with it into the middle of 2015.
