From Eliyahu

Hello friends,

Holy Time is directly connected with the Holy Land. YHWH gave ancient Israel a time-keeping system that directly relates to the fruitfulness of the Land of Israel in its seasons. Right now we are finishing up the first month of the Hebrew year. At this time of the year the ancient Israelite in the Land was hoping the rain and the sunshine would cooperate together with the farmer to produce much fruit for the nation. If that didn't happen, there would not be enough to eat. If it did, there would be abundance. Fruit from the Land was a big issue - a life and death issue, for all ancient agrarian societies, and in this Israel was no different.

Farming takes a lot of hard work. Without that there can be no harvest. But hard work alone is not enough. Nature itself must cooperate. Not enough rain, too much rain, not enough sun, too much sun, soil conditions, pests, insects, and even war are some of the variables that can threaten the outcome of this foundational time of the Hebrew year.

From Passover to the first fruits of the wheat harvest at Shavuot are seven Sabbath cycles. This period is critical to the harvest for the year. Through this period the Israelite must work hard to make that harvest happen, to produce much fruit, but must also pray hard for YHWH to do the part that human beings can not do, for after all, "it is God that makes it grow." (1 Cor 3:7)

All of this has a spiritual application. At this time the main focus of faithful Israel must be to bring forth much fruit for the Kingdom. This takes the same degree of focus we are talking about above - PLUS - an extraordinary spiritual focus. This involves prayer, but really, our whole lives.

In Matthew 13 Messiah spoke about producing fruit. He used the natural process of agriculture to explain the supernatural principles of the Kingdom. The timing for this study is perfect, given where we are at in Holy Time. Come to our Tsiyon meeting tonight and be encouraged, edified and equipped, to assist you to bring forth much fruit for the Kingdom.

Here you can see Jacob, Judah, Solomon and other workers in this picture. The cement truck has just come and the cement floor for the shop is about to be poured! Pray that it will turn out level and strong. I'll send you pictures of how it turns out in the next Tsiyon News.

This work is in keeping with our theme of "Fruit for the Kingdom" because that's what this building is in anticipation of - increasing the capacity of Tsiyon to produce more Kingdom fruit. Thank you for your constant support and for your prayers, as we move ahead together with this vital project.
