From Eliyahu

Hello friends,

Throughout history the good guys have always been threatened by the powerful elite of this world. Make no mistake, a privileged few have always managed to rise to the top of every society, even if that has required lying, scheming, and even murder. The law? That is the last thing to stop these people, because they collectively control what laws are made and how those laws are enforced. Laws are for the little people, not for them. Yet, they must maintain an appearance of being law-abiding, to maintain their influence with the people. That is why the elite crowd are all two-faced hypocrites. To stay at that level requires them to maintain a public perception of uprightness, to cover over the string of bodies and dirty deeds that got them where they are, and that keeps them there.

Abraham Lincoln is quoted as saying:

"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool ALL of the people ALL of the time."

The Elite know this is true. Some people will inevitably see through them, and their dirty deeds. These perceptive people could be a danger to them, potentially exposing them. The elite are not worried though. They think they can neutralize those more perceptive people, and they usually do. They have lots of tools in their bag of dirty tricks to accomplish this. These tools generally fall into two categories, the carrot and the stick.

The Carrot: The elite call the carrot "incentives." Money is at the top of that list for some, while status is at the top for others. Fulfillment of pleasures and desires of all kinds also fit in here. A wide array of perks are controlled by the elite, which they can easily use to keep people in line. Most people are basically selfish, so the carrot is almost always enough to preserve the status quo.

The Stick: Those few who will not fall in line by the carrot will then be met by the penalties of the stick. Here too, there is a wide array of "tools" to choose from. These include all types of painful loss, whether loss of status, reputation, relationships, freedom or wealth. Blackmail is often involved here, as well as fabrications, lies and dirty tricks. For those very few who will not be swayed by any of that there is the ultimate solution: murder.

So how do you win against the evil elite? It all depends how you define "winning." Life is not a movie. Fighting your way into their lair and kungfuing them into oblivion is not a solution. Neither is appealing to the good guys in the system, since the elite already own the system. A revolution overturning the ruling class won't do it either. Its like the book "Animal Farm." Every successful revolution eventually produces a new system that is as bad or worse than the one that is supposedly replaced.

What I'm saying is that mankind is essentially so flawed that an evil elite will always rise to the top, and there is nothing you can do to prevent that. If winning means stopping all that corruption once and for all, then forget it - you can't win against the elite.

That is not to say you cannot win at all, if you define winning properly. Winning means standing for something higher than this world, no matter what. Winning means continuing to speak the truth and doing the right thing, without being deterred by either the carrot or the stick. Winning means you cannot be broken, even by death itself.

Yeshua the Messiah defines what winning is all about. He faced up to the evil elite of His day. They did their worst, and He could not be broken. By His courage and unfaltering righteousness, He changed everything. He changed us. He gave us a future beyond the control of the power-brokers of this world. He made it possible for us to be righteous and set apart from this evil world. He made the Kingdom a reality, and that Kingdom will soon sweep away the world system of the evil elite forever. He won, and by trusting Him, and standing with Him, will will win too, even if we must first stand up to the challenge of both the carrot and the stick. He did it! Through Him, we can do it too!

September 23, 2017, we were told, would be the date of The Great Sign of Revelation 12. Dire end-of-the-world predictions were made. Yet, after that day of "The Great Sign" came and went, and the predictions failed to materialize, we heard little if anything explaining the failure. This was not the first time this has happened, and won't be the last. Why? Signs in the sky are foretold in Scripture for the last days. True to that prophecy, unusual heavenly signs do occur. In fact, signs in the sky often cause a clamor, with predictions of rapture and the end of the world. Yet, these signs come and go, and the predicted events fail to happen. This, of course, provides an opportunity for scoffers to gloat. Why does this keep happening? Could it be that these signs are significant, but they mean something different than YouTube preachers have guessed? There is, in fact, a unified message in these sky signs.
