"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. You shall labor six days, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to YHWH your Elohim! You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; for in six days YHWH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore YHWH blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy." - Exodus 20:8-11

The Ten Commandments designate God's moral requirements upon all of his servants. This is almost universally recognized by all sorts of Bible-believing people. This accounts for the Ten Commandments adorning courthouses and other public buildings across the western world. Why would nine of the moral commandments written in stone by the finger of God remain in force, while somehow just one commandment, the Sabbath, is to be removed from the list? Should the Ten Commandments now be called the Nine Commandments? Further, who would be so bold as to remove a commandment from this list given by the hand of God Himself? The Ten Commandments were written in stone by the hand of God for a reason, and the reason is this: they are obviously intended to be permanent.

2. The remnant of Israel of the Last Days receive a blessing in restoring and keeping the Sabbath.

"Those who shall be of you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. "If you turn away your foot on the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy of YHWH honorable; and shall honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words: then you shall delight yourself in YHWH; and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth; and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father:" for the mouth of YHWH has spoken it."  - Isaiah 58:12-14

This prophecy is very clearly referring to the remnant of the Last Days who raise up and restore what was lost, including the Sabbath. These Sabbath-keepers richly enjoy this blessing: "I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth; and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father." In other words, the remnant who restore respect and observance of the commandments, and especially the Sabbath, will be the recipients of all the blessings of Jacob, including return to the Land, and more importantly, to the status and role of the seed of Jacob in the earth.

The truth is, the Sabbath given by YHWH has not been observed since the 4th century, when Rome set the days of the week as we now know them, and the Jews were compelled to leave the original means of setting the months and their Sabbaths, as in Biblical times. That is, instead of setting the start of the months and their Sabbaths and other appointment days by observing the new moon in the sky, as they had done throughout the biblical era, the Jews were forced to abide by a fixed calendar, with Sabbath fixed to the Roman Saturday ("Saturn's-day") at that time. Ever since then the Jewish "Sabbath" has been on Saturday, not set according to the actual Sabbath day required by Scripture. This is not the Sabbath that the Commandment is talking about. Saturday did not exist before the 3rd century. There is absolutely no way that anyone can prove that Saturday is the seventh day spoken of by the commandment, especially since the Roman days have been shuffled a number of times.

It is not until the last couple of decades that a return to the true Sabbath, established by the sighting of the biblical new moon, has been observed by the remnant of Israel. This is a part of "raising up the foundations - repairing the breach - restoring the paths" that the Last Days remnant were prophesied to accomplish. This return to the true Sabbath is the Sabbath, and its blessing, that Isaiah 58 is talking about. [For full details ask for my book "Holy Time"]
