Shalom friends, 

Here we are at the end of the first week in month eight and it is almost hard to believe month seven is over.  There were plenty of fun times, good food, and even greater fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Messiah. What was truly cementing and great though, was our fellowship together with the Creator, as we came together to keep His Holy Days. We felt His Spirit working through us as a community, knitting us closer together in Him. Upon reading the verses in Leviticus 23, many people wonder how modern-day believers could keep them in this modern era? No doubt there are as many answers to that question as there are people belonging to Him.  Here is just one such example in our BattleCry2018 Event report, highlighting some of the fabulous moments captured during our Greater Austin Texas Tsiyon Headquarters celebration, this past seventh month.

BattleCry 2018 began long before the first earnest believer arrived. Dedicated Tsiyon volunteers worked to prepare the building and grounds that various guests would be enjoying during their visit at Tsiyon Headquarters. Just before month seven began, all of the preparations were completed, flyers for the event had been made and distributed, announcements and press releases had gone out. Now it was finally time to meet the first of the folks arriving.  Eliyahu, Dawn, and Judah were off to the airport to meet Roy McCrindle as his flight arrived all the way from Australia!  This was the first time any of us had met Roy in person, but instead of meeting for the first time, it was a YHWH family reunion!  If any of you have an occasion to meet Roy, be prepared as he is a fabulous hugger, in addition to being a fabulous historian, and serious prayer warrior. Everyone was blessed knowing Roy would be with us throughout the entire seventh month for all of the activities, fellowship, and prayer. 

Roy's arrival was just in time to celebrate Feast of Trumpets/Yom Teruah. Everyone assembled outdoors, enjoyed a special message of encouragement, made a great deal of joyful noise shouting and blowing the shofars, as well as worshipping together with praise and worship music. There was even dancing and flagging. It was wonderful to hear all of the brothers and sisters come together in worship, as well as looking forward to "the day nobody knows" (as this feast is also known) when Yeshua, Messiah, our Lord and King will return! We captured a photo of Roy participating in Yom Teruah here and are delighted to report: while Roy was visiting Tsiyon, he was appointed as the new Commander of the Army of YHWH in Australia.  Stay tuned to Tsiyon News for more information and updates soon.

Before long, Gary's family arrived with their servant-hearts and helped put the finishing touches on preparations for our outdoor cooking area, as Michael and his crew put the finishing touches on the outdoor music stage, set up equipment, and got ready to live-stream so others who could not travel to Tsiyon Headquarters could still be a part via the live-streams.  Efforts were a bit hampered by the unseasonable rainy weather this region of Texas was experiencing.  Despite the weather, every thing was soon ready and the first outdoor BattleCry 2018 event with live stream began. This was the first Sabbath meeting of the month, where Eliyahu, our group meeting here, and our live-stream guests, kicked things off with the introductory, "The War is On!"  After the event, Eliyahu was once again off to the Austin airport to meet Linda, of SpiritSong, and her daughter.  Thought it was the first time meeting face-to-face, Linda's arrival was definitely another family reunion!  There was also an impromptu session of thanking YHWH, for His answered prayer, as Linda's guitar arrived safely too.

Next, was the more serious celebration of the Day of Atonement.  Individually and corporately, everyone reflected upon our need for, and the great work of, our High Priest, Yeshua Messiah, as we spent the day in prayer and fasting.  Everyone was ready when we broke the fast at the end of the day.  It wasn't long after that, Brother Richard arrived from Canada. Everyone was blessed again, meeting another member of YHWH's family, and we were blessed as Richard shared his testimony.  There was a men's fellowship brunch that week, where the brothers enjoyed some great food and Scripture study together. Speaking of food, Janet and crew provided everyone with some awesome meals all throughout Sukkot! Many thanks to Janet and everyone who helped with the food, it takes a lot of effort to feed this many people!

Amazingly, there was still more to come:  it was time to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot. Eliyahu presented the first of four meaty messages on the Last Age of World, and everyone enjoyed Sabbath prayer, fellowship, and worship.  SpiritSong blessed us every night of Sukkot with fabulous music, ministering to Him and His people.  The first day of Sukkot, there were several who expressed a desire to be immersed, so we had a fabulous gathering for immersion.  Eliyahu explained that there are several different reasons why believers are immersed, in addition to immersion into Messiah. Reasons may include repentance, entering into a new ministry, entering into a higher walk, and things known only to those choosing to be immersed. Others witnessed as our brothers and sister stepped forward to be immersed. A highlight was Roy's commissioning, and even a celebration of 40 years walking with Him. 

Following the first night of Sukkot, we had several nights of open microphone where Eliyahu invited anyone in attendance to step up, as the Ruach haKodesh/Holy Spirit led them to do and share what ever He had put within them to share.  There was also live praise and worship, and a concert from Linda Rose of Spiritsong. The open mic held surprises full of a lot of amazing testimonies and sharing from the hearts of YHWH’s Remnant people. He was truly moving among His people every time that mic was open for sharing. Everyone was so amazed that each night He had a special theme which emerged through the messages every one shared. Even the most quiet and shy among us came forward to share how He worked with them in their own life, as well as some seasoned believers who shared plenty of wisdom from walking with their loving Father.
