Religion is not held in high esteem these days, if we are talking about any sort of traditional Bible-based religion. Any time you see a Rabbi, Pastor or Priest depicted in the movies or on TV it is likely that you won't like that character very much. The stereotype is a self-righteous, pompous boob, judging and condemning anyone who is different from the "rigid and unreasonable" standards of traditional religion. The Pharisee here shown pretty much sums up the image from the broad brush with which all "Judeo-Christian" religion is painted these days.

Of course, nobody wants to be seen that way. For one thing, that stereotype could be very bad for business. Apparently, some people might not eat chicken from restaurants where the owners are seen as evil religionists. At least, that's the impression one gets from this headline on Biznow[dot]Com, which showed up on a link from Drudge this morning: "EXCLUSIVE: Chick-fil-A To Stop Donations To Charities With Anti-LGBT Views." The article states that Chick-fil-A...

"..will no longer include donating to organizations like the Salvation Army, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Paul Anderson Youth Home, Chick-fil-A says, all of which sparked criticism in the past from the LGBT community due to the organizations’ stances on homosexuality. The move comes after several U.S. airports rejected the company from concessions deals earlier this year."

Chick-fil-A has been known as a Christian-owned business, and has gotten a lot of flack in the press over it. To be fair to them, they have tried hard to stand up for their Christian values, until now. In the end though, business is about money. It seems that being denied access to lucrative markets has pressured them to get out of the way of the LGBT agenda. It turns out that, where business is concerned, the forces behind the LGBT agenda are able to exert a greater religious fervor than modern Christianity. And what is the message here to organizations such as the Salvation Army, which have maintained their traditional values? No doubt the denial of support over this issue is sending a very strong message.

What you are seeing here is not a result of the LGBT movement, per se. That is just part of a bigger picture. It is part of the new religion. The cool religion. The globalist religion. The pulpit for the globalist religion does not require a Church. The cool religion is transmitted on smart phone via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the Evening News - not to mention movies and TV. It is presented as the people's religion, that is, a sort of grassroots "enlightenment" generated by the modern, more evolved souls of our hi-tech age. Everybody who is anybody espouses this new "spirituality." In reality, this is all social engineering being foisted upon mankind by the elite of this world to accomplish their goals. It is propaganda of the most sophisticated sort. It is entirely self-serving. It is not by the people, or for the people, at all. Most importantly, it is humanist and anti-God. It is global poison, because it is pushing the world toward confrontation with the Creator - a confrontation the world cannot win. There is a lot of pressure on everyone to get on board with the cool religion, but if you do, you will not like the place where that will take you.

What's "cool" changes in every era. What's right never changes. In first century Judea the Pharisees were the doorkeepers of what was considered the cool religion back then. Yeshua saw through them, and never bowed to intimidation from them. He preferred to do what was right rather than what was popular - or safe. His followers did the same. What will you do in the face of the cool religion emerging today? Trust me, all of this is going to get a whole lot more intense, and it will do so far faster than most anyone can imagine. If you are going to stand with Yeshua against the rising tide, you need to draw close to Him now.
