If you come to our online meetings then you already know and love Bryan Crigger and his family. However, you may not recognize them in the photo on the left because of the face masks. Those masks are not there for dramatic effect. The Criggers, though not Chinese, have lived and worked in China for years (that is a story in itself). Everyone in China is commanded to wear the masks because of the man-made pestilence called the Coronavirus. So far as they know, they don't have the virus, and of course, they don't want it - and we don't want them to have it, so pray!

If you want to donate to help them please read this entire paragraph first. We have two ways to donate and you will want to know about both. First, they already set up a gofundme page. Clicking the picture will take you to the link. The web page mentions Michael Ashmen as the beneficiary. The reason for that is because they cannot get the funds from gofundme in the country where they are at, so they arranged for Michael to get the funds and to forward the money to Bryan in a secure way they have arranged between themselves. That is, after gofundme gets to their payout date. Looking at the gofundme page, you will see that some of our Remnant folk have already responded to help them. Bryan has messaged his thanks for your help. If anyone else would like to help, you can still do that at the gofundme link, or, if you would like the funds to get to them quicker, you can donate at Tsiyon and we will immediately forward the funds. As the news article reprinted below indicates, this is not a good time for foreigners to be in China. At this point, having followed the leading of the Spirit, the Criggers have escaped out of China to a neighboring country, and are temporarily sheltered there. This proved to be just in time - their city just got locked down, quarantined, immediately after they got out! Now, they are essentially refugees. Our doors are open to them here in Texas, but these circumstances are complicated, so, at this point, they don't exactly know what is happening next. Travel has been shut down a lot in that part of the world, due to the virus, and it has gotten much more expensive to travel, when one can travel at all. Please be praying for the Criggers, and if you can help out with funds, it would be so appreciated!

For all of us, this is a good reminder that the Remnant are exiles in a hostile world, and during these last days, this fact will become ever-more apparent as events unfold. We desperately need to get organized, so we can get home in the Remnant exodus. We are working on that every day.

The fact is, the nations of this world form a very tough neighborhood. They don't like YHWH, they don't like His ways, and they don't like us. Our best scenario most of the time is just to be good citizens (which we are) and to not come to their notice. However, that doesn't always work, because sometimes their demands are contrary to the commands of YHWH. His Remnant put Him first, and that is where we come into conflict with the world. Even so, we obey YHWH and His Son, because we are His. Yeshua put it this way:

"The world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world." John 17:14

The nations of the world are described in Scripture as wild beasts. Any good history lesson reveals why that characterization is entirely accurate. Yeshua, the perfect Son of YHWH, came into the world to teach us to love one another. The world responded by murdering Him. What greater proof could there be? If you actually live your life following Yeshua you must accept that this world, in its beast nature, wants to do to you what it did to Him. If things are relatively okay where you live now, that doesn't mean they will stay that way. As the Criggers can tell you, the situation anywhere in this world can change literally overnight. We need a place of safety, and we need it soon. That's why we desperately need the Remnant exodus.

Editor's Note: Yeshua gave us signs to look for, to know we are in the final generation before His Return. We have a locust plague of Biblical proportions sweeping through Africa and moving into the Mideast right now, which will surely bring famine. we definitely have "earthquakes in various places" provably on the increase. Coronavirus: NZ man in China says people fighting for food, reselling used masks

People are fighting over food, picking used face masks from bins to resell them, inflating prices of everyday products and even spitting on each other.

This is how a New Zealand man living in China has described his reality, saying the China we see on the internet is far from the truth.

Hundreds of people are dead after the outbreak of the coronavirus in Wuhan, and panic has spread worldwide.

The New Zealand man lives in northeast China with his wife and two children and says they are barely getting by. "It's getting worse by the day ... everything has fallen apart here," the man, who asked for anonymity out of fear of his family's safety, said.

..Face masks should be worn outside at all times. In some places, masks are reportedly few and far between and might not be clean. Once available to be bought for as little as 10 cents, the New Zealand man told the Herald people had been selling masks for as much as $50. "I see old ladies walking around picking face masks out of the trash and then they sell them on the street the next day laughing about it," he said. "When China says they've got enough and they're handing them out, they're not, I can tell you that now - there's none available anywhere."

To make them appear new, the women would iron them after plucking the masks from the bin, the man said. As a foreigner, he said he had always experienced discrimination while living in China but amid the coronavirus scare, matters had become worse. It's thought foreigners did not deserve the right to fresh food and now the man won't even attempt to go shopping at a supermarket, he said. Getting fresh produce was a challenge for everyone at the moment, he said, and fights were often breaking out over things like eggs and vegetables.

To make matters worse, people were claiming to be infected and threatening to spit on others so they too will contract coronavirus, he claimed. Meanwhile, despite the grim reality of life in China at the moment, there was little the man could do about changing his family's situation. A consultant, the man said all his business for the year had dried up and his wife's business was not making any money either. "No one is paying their bills, no one is paying you. My wife's [business] is losing money every day," he said. "It'll run us broke to the point where if I come back to New Zealand with my kids I'll be homeless. "We have no choice, it's either stay here or be homeless in New Zealand."

Even being able to leave China was far from the realm of possibility, he said. The man had estimated it would take upwards of $20,000 to get everyone home, having already spent around $5000 attempting to fly to South Korea. And while they had tickets purchased for the flight, they had always been overbooked and South Korean citizens always had priority over foreigners.

In New Zealand, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) operation was under way to try to rescue stranded New Zealanders from Wuhan. However, the journey from the city where the man lives with his family to Wuhan was too far, the man said. "I'd love to get my kids back to New Zealand [but] we can't get out of here," he said. "I'm guessing there are thousands of foreigners stuck in this position with families; we're just riding time and seeing what's happening."
