From Eliyahu

Consider this:

Joseph suffered for righteousness.Coming into conflict with powerful people can be quite frightening, for very good reasons. Many are the stories of those who have done so, and had serious repercussions. Joseph comes to mind as one example. As a slave in Potiphar's house in ancient Egypt, Joseph had very little influence, while Potiphar was part of the elite of that day. Potiphar's wife shared in her husband's status, so when she made immoral advances toward Joseph, it put him in a very precarious situation, at no fault of his own. Joseph was appalled by the very suggestion of violating his master's wife, and said so, rebuffing her repeated advances. The corrupt woman always got her way, and would not take 'no' for an answer. She schemed to send everyone in the house, except Joseph, to do tasks elsewhere, leaving her alone with Joseph. Under cover of this secrecy, she made her demands as she grabbed hold of Joseph's coat. Just as quickly, he ran outside, away from her, leaving his coat in her hands. On seeing she would not get her way with Joseph, her lust quickly turned to spite. She spun a tale making her the innocent victim, while Joseph was portrayed as the evil cad that had attacked her! She had proof - his garment in her hand.

Joseph had done the right thing - and now spent 12 years in prison for having done so. It could of been worse, he could have lost his life. In today's logic, some would reason that Joseph should have gone along to get along, and the sin would be on her. Joseph was better than that, because he feared Elohim. Elohim knows how to make all things turn out for good for those who love and obey Him. In Joseph's case, Elohim used the unfair trip to prison as a launching point for Joseph, eventually elevating him to the second highest position in Egypt. The moral of the story: fear God not man.

Thecorrupt Annas dynesty fought against Messiah In many ways, Joseph provides a prophetic picture of the then coming Messiah. Yeshua faced down the evil rulers of His day to bring truth and salvation to His people. While the occupying Romans, and the self-serving Herodians, were potentially dangerous to Messiah, nobody was more set against Him than the corrupt religious establishment, led by the High Priest dynasty of the evil Annas, and his relatives. They held the reigns of religious power in ancient Judea, and they weren't about to give up the power, status, perks and wealth that flowed to them from their oppressive religious regime. As the rightful Messiah, fulfilling over 450 prophetic qualifications, He was the rightful Ruler of Israel, who had come to save His people. He spoke the pure Truth in righteousness with the Divine authority commensurate with that reality. They should have embraced Him and supported Him as the King of Israel. Instead, they opposed Him at every turn in their greedy obsession with holding on to their illegitimate power. For fear of the people, rather than just killing Him, they tried to use numerous schemes followed by threats to dissuade Him. When none of that worked, they concocted a scheme to get Him killed at the hands of the Romans.

They thought they had won, and that would be the end of the "problem." They figured his followers would be so frightened and discouraged that they would simply melt back into the population and that would be the end of the story. Far from it! When Messiah rose from the dead, they were defeated! At that point, He was completely beyond their reach, and their impotent lies and schemes could do nothing to defeat Him.

The Messianic Assembly of Israel had a holy boldness!
As far as His followers were concerned, they were energized like never before, because some 500 of them had seen Him, and been with Him, AFTER His resurrection! Rather than skulking away in fear, they emerged with a holy boldness that could NEVER be stopped! The Book of Acts continues that triumphant narrative of the Gospels with the fight for truth, righteousness and the Kingdom of Messiah being pushed forward as a rapidly growing movement within Israel. Who should rule? The disciples were unequivocal: the resurrected Messiah is the rightful Ruler of Israel! Thousands were joining them, and the evil Annas dynasty was losing their grip over awakening thousands.

At our live-streamed Tsiyon Partner Meeting tonight, we get to look in on the first confrontation between the Annas dynasty and the emerging Assembly of Israel - the clash between the bad and the bold. This is awesome!

This struggle has continued now for centuries, all the way down to these last days. There is no doubt that evil worldly elites are pushing their agenda against Elohim and His Messiah, Yeshua - putting themselves in the place of God. This will come to a head in the remaining few years before this generation is over. During this time, every person on earth will have to make a choice, to side with either the bad or the bold. Nothing could be more relevant for us than the Book of Acts.

Please join me for the live meeting to be aired tonight, at tsiyon.net, at 8 pm cst, and be one of the bold!

Blessings and good health to you!

In the meantime here’s the On the Road to Tsiyon programs we’ll be airing and their descriptions.

Post-Ascension Kingdom Order #65
After Messiah ascended to heaven it would be up to his disciples / talmidim to represent His Kingdom in the world. The record of how they undertook that great commission is found in the Bible book of Acts. Many people mistakenly think of Acts as the story of how the "new religion" of Christianity got started. However, as we take more than a surface look at the first chapter of Acts we find nothing about starting a new religion. What we find is a meeting of the leadership of those first believers, giving us a look into the internal government of the early believers in those first days after Messiah left them to the work. Rather than starting something new we find them continuing something that had been around already for a very long time. What they were continuing is the Kingdom Government of Israel which was already well-established in their midst. This look into a meeting of the earliest eldership of the early Messianic believers will open your eyes to a whole different book of Acts than the one you may have always heard about. Acts is the story of the faithful Remnant of Israel in action!

Messianic Pentecost/Shavuot #66
A key element of replacement theology holds that the new "Christian Religion" was born on the "Pentecost" of Acts Chapter Two. In this program we de-bunk that myth by investigating what Pentecost was really all about. In the process we discuss the connection between Shavuot, Passover, Unleavened Bread, the Waiving of the Omer, the Counting of the Omer, the First Fruits Offering, the Giving of the Covenant at Sinai and the Renewed Covenant at Pentecost of Acts Two. Through this discussion we will find that the believers did not start a new religion on Pentecost. Instead we find that the Remnant of Faithful Israel were renewed in the Covenant as the Holy Nation of YHWH on that very special day! You will find this to be a very timely program which explains details of the real meaning of this season on the Torah Calendar.

Shavuot/Pentecost Early Rains #69
On the Shavuot / Pentecost of 33 C.E. amazing events unfolded in Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit filled the talmidim of Yeshua and they all began speaking in other tongues - languages they had never learned to speak. The purpose of this startling gift of the Spirit was to empower those first disciples to communicate with Israelites from every corner of the known world who spoke all of those different native languages and who had traveled to Jerusalem to observe Shavuot there. Those travelers were in awe to hear the good news about Yeshua the Messiah spoken to them each in his own native language by simple country folk from Galilee! Not only that, but they had earlier witnessed unusual signs in the heavens and earth testifying to them of things they did not yet understand. As they wondered at these miracles Peter / Kefa and the rest of the Emissaries boldly explained to them from the prophecies of Joel and David how these signs bore divine witness to Yeshua the Nazarean whom their nation had offered up to be killed, but who had defeated death and sat at the right hand of God in Heaven! Why was all this happening THEN? They were living in the LAST DAYS! In this program you will learn what all of this meant in those last days - and what it means for these last days in which we NOW live.
