The big push with so much of what they are doing is to get Donald Trump and the conservative movement he represents neutered. They are working on that on many fronts, notably creating racial tensions and drumming up anger using the bio-weapon currently known as covid-19. Once the globalists attain solid political control, their most virulent hatred will be vented, their hatred of God, His Son, the Bible, and especially, Bible-believers. You must understand, they want to replace God, with their own technocratic version of an all-seeing, all-knowing AI god. A god of their own making in their own image that they can imbue with their own twisted anti-morality and priorities, and above all, a vehicle of control over everyone and everything. Being of the devil, their entire program is the opposite of the Creator. They must stamp Him out for their vision to succeed. It is a fact that religion and political control have always gone hand-in-hand. There is only one thing that can unify the impossibly divided world. If they are to have a global government, they must create a global religion to support it, and that religion must get all other religions to fall into line under it, or be destroyed. Darwinism, LGBT, the climate change agenda, gay marriage, and all the rest of the so-called progressive agenda, all are facets of the globalist new morality - with a lot worse on the way. All of this denies God and His Word, and is in fact antithetical to His commandments in every way. For a long time the globalists have been attempting to kick God off of His Throne, so they can rule in His place. They think they are winning, because they already have most of the young people in their grip, which tightens more with each passing day. Once they finally get firmly into power, that will not be enough anymore. That's when the gloves come off and the knives come out. That's when they will seek to expunge the Creator and everyone and everything that supports Him from the face of all the earth. That's when unprecedented persecution will be applied. The power of global AI technology will be used to seek out every believer, wherever they hide, to turn them, imprison them, or kill them. This nightmare is just over the horizon, and must happen. Face the truth and get ready. Verses like this one, talking about the rise of the "false prophet" and the "beast" he advocates will soon be fulfilled. An "image of the beast" will be fashioned unlike any other in history - an image that comes "alive", can speak, and can kill whomever will not worship the image.
If you had lived 2000 years ago, and had a vision of modern AI controlling a global system, with demonic forces behind it, how would you describe that vision to people living at that time? Having no knowledge of 21st century technology, wouldn't your description sound much like these verses? Really, we are moving into the first time in history that the things described are becoming technologically possible. Every indication is, this scenario is developing quickly, and most of us who are living now will experience the reality of what this prophecy is talking about. There is already more persecution of believers right now as compared to any time you want to name - even compared to the worst that Rome could do. What Revelation 13 describes is a time of persecution far worse than that, coming soon. I know, most people don't want to believe that. They just want to plant some flowers in front of their own house, along their own white picket fence, and enjoy life with the people they love. They just want to be happy and be left alone. Certainly, we can't blame anyone for wanting that. Many of the people of Noah's generation wanted those normal things too, and lived for them.
It is a shame that most people seem incapable of believing things will not just go on as normal, even when all the signs of radical change are all around them. "Living the dream" has a dark side. It can blind you to the looming danger. Perhaps some of those people who were sitting on their porch drinking iced tea and just enjoying life would have done better to break through the confines of their make-believe world, long enough to listen to that crazy old man who was building a ship - far from the ocean shore. Even better if they decided to lend a hand, and then signed up for passage as well. None of them did that. Noah, his family, and YHWH, did it all and none of the rest believed things could change that much. When they learned the truth, they were already drowning. At this juncture, some might say that sort of surprise could not happen to believers. The book of Acts does not agree. As we begin the book of Acts we find the Messianic Assembly experiencing what can only be described as a spiritual utopia. Nothing could separate the believers in Jerusalem from the daily fellowship in the Holy Spirit that they were enjoying, the constant amazing teaching of the apostles, the awesome miracles that were happening daily, and the thousands of new believers that kept flocking in. It went on like that for about two years, with no apparent end of that spiritual paradise in sight. An amazing "normal" seemed like it would go on forever. Then it happened. Stephen was found "guilty" by the Jewish court and was violently stoned to death. Then a harsh persecution was suddenly unleashed against all the believers. Entire families were being systematically hunted down, and thrown into prison! Suddenly the big spiritual party was over, with the believers scattering in every direction of the compass. That was a terrible thing, right? The devil meant it to be a terrible thing, but Messiah turned it into a good thing! Persecution as a good thing - now, that is quite a concept! Acts 8 tells us how the first great persecution of the Assembly turned out to be a major step forward for the early community of believers. Fortunately, they had devoted themselves to the teaching of the Emissaries beforehand, so when the persecution shock fell upon them, unlike the people in Noah's day, they were fortified and ready to deal with it. Yes, their faith was tested, and no doubt a few probably failed the test in the moment. However, as a whole, they kept the faith and spread the good news about Messiah! Our Father was equal to the challenge of that 1st great persecution in the 1st century, and is just as capable to deal with the unprecedented hi-tech persecution of this present-last century. In fact, He can make such persecution into a good thing, and He will. We can learn from the first 8 chapters of Acts though, that building up our inner spirit man when we have the relative peace to do so is key. Now is the time to be devoting ourselves to taking in the teaching of the Word, and our walk in the Holy Spirit. The night is coming quickly. Use the twilight that is left to get yourself and your family ready to face the evil creatures of the descending darkness. Our study of Acts 8 is a great place to get built up for what is to come. Join us for our live meeting to be aired tonight, at tsiyon.net, at 8 pm cst. Persecution is coming, but you don't need to be afraid. Persecution can be a good thing! Blessings and good health to you!
