Messiah's family are often represented as not believing in Him during His ministry. This could not be farther from the truth!

Light on Yeshua's Family

From Eliyahu

Consider this:

The tyrants of the world don't want you to know where the bodies are buried, so they change the historical record to say there are no bodies, and never were. Fixed "elections" in banana republics work like this too. Everyone knows the elections are fixed, but they accept them as genuine, for fear of being seen as "an enemy of the state." In course of time the truth is forgotten and the unwanted facts of history are thus negated. This changing of the historical record to bury unwanted facts from the past is called negationism. Negationism is "The revision of history in order to omit something that actually happened." Notable examples of negationism include Holocaust denial, Armenian Genocide denial, Myth of the clean Wehrmacht, and a host of other war crime denials by many different countries, groups and organizations. (Wiktionary.Org)

Not just anyone can change the historical record. Only a powerful influencer can accomplish it, altering the mass perception of history. This is well illustrated in the famous novel, George Orwell's, Nineteen Eighty-Four. The book illuminates negationism as a mind-control technique used for the purposes of social control. It is a means of forcing the population to accept the unacceptable, as mandated by "big brother." A term in the book, blackwhite, is one example:

The keyword here is blackwhite. Like so many Newspeak words, this word has two mutually contradictory meanings. Applied to an opponent, it means the habit of impudently claiming that black is white, in contradiction of the plain facts. Applied to a Party member, it means a loyal willingness to say that black is white when Party discipline demands this. But it means also the ability to believe that black is white, and more, to know that black is white, and to forget that one has ever believed the contrary. This demands a continuous alteration of the past, made possible by the system of thought which really embraces all the rest, and which is known in Newspeak as doublethink. Doublethink is basically the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.  [Part II, Chapter IX – The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism]

Yes, that sounds crazy, and is crazy, but just turn on the news any day of the week for a real world example.

The Call

Governments are not the only practitioners of negationism. "The Church" is actually built on negationism. During the first century and a half after the death and resurrection of Messiah, the body of believers, both Hebrew and Gentile, were Hebraic Torah keepers. Further, they were led as one body by the Davidic relatives of Messiah. Today, this is well documented, yet few people know it. Why don't they know it?

Because of the negationism by the Gentile Church after it broke off from that original Hebraic body of believers. Every history of the Christian Church supposes the Church began with the Apostles and continued in an unbroken history thereafter. This could only be claimed because the greater number of Gentiles of the Roman Church, backed by the authority of the Roman emperor, made it possible to negate the real history regarding the leadership of Messiah's family. Eusebius, 4th-century bishop of the Roman Church in Caesarea, was the first to construct a chronological account of the development of "Christianity" from the 1st century to the 4th century - the first "Church History" from which all others proceed.

As we might expect, Bishop Eusebius did not include anything about the Gentile schism away from the primitive Messianic Assembly. That was completely negated. Instead, in his version, the Messianic Assembly led by Messiah's relatives are represented as the heretics, and the Gentile Church is, somehow, the original body. "Apostolic succession" was invented as a substitute for the Biblical authority of Messiah's Davidic relatives. Documents were destroyed, and other documents were forged, all to remove Messiah's relatives from their leadership role and to put Peter, the so-called "1st Pope" in their place at the lead of the Christian Church. A fictional dynasty of Roman Popes from Peter forward were injected into the so-called "history" and the deception was made complete. Every history of Christianity since then has relied on the propaganda of Eusebius as a true representation of what really happened. That includes later Protestant histories. Thus, the negation of the true history has prevailed.

If the facts were remembered confirming the schism of the Gentile Church against that rightful authority of the primitive believers -  that eventually formed an entirely new organization beginning in the middle of the 2nd century, based on entirely contrary principles, with no authority whatsoever originating in the original Messianic Assembly of Messiah - then the house of cards that is the Christian Church would implode into oblivion, as true believers would leave its rotting carcass in search of the real Body of Messiah.

Did Yeshua's family believe in Him?
Happy mom and Son.

I'm not the only person who sees "Church History" by Eusebius as less than truthful in its attempt to uphold the Roman Church. A number of scholars have observed this, and commented on it. For example:

Ramsay MacMullen regarded Eusebius' work as representative of early Christian historical accounts in which “Hostile writings and discarded views were not recopied or passed on, or they were actively suppressed... matters discreditable to the faith were to be consigned to silence.” As a consequence this kind of methodology in MacMullen's view has distorted modern attempts, (e.g. Harnack, Nock, and Brady), to describe how the Church grew in the early centuries. Arnaldo Momigliano wrote that in Eusebius' mind "chronology was something between an exact science and an instrument of propaganda." [https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_History_(Eusebius)]

Due to the early attempts to remove Messiah's family from favor, the narrative representing them as unbelieving and unhelpful in Messiah's ministry was generated. Even today this negative view of Messiah's family is still accepted by many. Yet, there are only a couple of passages in the Gospels that can be used to put Messiah's family in a negative light. Its time to shine a positive light on those passages, revealing Yeshua's family for the pillars of the true faith that all early believers recognized them to be.

This timely presentation being broadcast from our Tsiyon Meeting tonight follows up on recent teaching from the book of Acts regarding James, the Lord's brother. Free Tsiyon members, as well as our Tsiyon Partners, are invited to view this special presentation. Please invite your friends and relatives, tonight at tsiyon.net, at 8 pm cst, for this restoration of true history about Messiah's family.

Blessings and good health to you!
