Consider this:

 

GALLUP, famous for their polls on all aspects of American life, carried this headline on March 29, 2021:

 

U.S. Church Membership Falls Below Majority for First Time

 

U.S. church membership was 73% when Gallup first measured it in 1937 and remained near 70% for the next six decades....

 

According to the article, from the 1930s until about 2000 the percentage of the USA population affiliated with a Church stayed consistently about 70%. That is the vast majority of the population. By around 2008, that percentage had dropped to about 60% of the USA population, still a majority, but indicating that the social agenda and secular worldview had been gaining ground in the new century. After 2007 the rate of Church membership decline speeded up precipitously, so that, in 2021, Church membership stands at only 47% - and dropping.

 

In 2009 I wrote a book, Announcing: Judgment Day, in which I reiterated what I had seen in 2008. Here is my conclusion of a much longer proof of the same in that book:

 

"The church system of this generation has been inspected [by Messiah] and found wanting. The judgment is concluded and over with the end of 2007 (1967+40=2007 inclusive). That entire system has been judged as unfit to represent Messiah. Their menorah has been removed. Now, I’m not saying that is the case with all individuals. I am talking about the entire church system itself. I have presented ample evidence that the entire multidenominational church system has been inspected and has been rejected. Revelation indicates final punishment will fall upon that doomed system in its then mutated form [Babylon the Great], later; in the Great Tribulation." (pg 69)

 

Looking back to 2008, it is proven that I was seeing something very real that happened around the end of 2007, when the favor of Messiah had been removed from the church system.

 

Recent figures are in line with what I was saying back in 2008.

The Church System has long since fallen into apostasy, as foretold in Scripture for this final generation. Now, deep in the end times, where can faithful believers turn for truth and a way forward in the will of the Lord? There is a way forward for those the Book of Revelation refers to as "the overcomers." In the same book I wrote in 2009, I said this to all potential  overcomers.

 

The period of judgment of the world has started and the overcomers are intermingled amongst the people of the world. You are now, and will be, seeing grave consequences of sin coming upon the world .. If you are mired down in useless muck with the world because you were too spiritually lazy to discern and walk in His path then what use will you be to His plan? This is not a time to be spiritually lax, though it is reason to take a longer view—to realize Messiah told us that we must endure to the end. We must persevere. The one that endures to the end will be saved. We need to get in that mindset, that we will not be deterred by any trial. We will endure in faith. We’re going for it. We’re digging in, we’re converging in unity, and then we’re pushing onward together, prevailing past the very gates of Hell, to seize the prize! (Pg 71)
  

Over a decade has passed since I gave this warning. Was I right or wrong about what was coming? Also, has the life I and the Tsiyon family have led since writing those words been an example of endurance in those truths, or just a lot of wind?
