From Eliyahu
Consider this:
Let's get started by
remembering some things that make you feel safe and comfortable. That's
probably something different for each person, but here are a few ideas: Your
mom tucking you in at night as a kid, or any of the other wonders that only
your mom could do to smooth out your world. Chocolate anything. Your
favorite pet. Your best friend. Winning the game. Feel great now? Wonderful.
If only life could
always be those warm and precious moments. We know that in this fallen world
no life can only be wonderful all the time, but when you know the living
God, the blessings always outweigh the stuff we don't like. Not only that,
but it is a good and healthy thing for us to focus mainly on the blessings
in gratitude, while also dealing with the problems of real life as they
arise. A verse I am encouraged by, is this one:
"Finally, brothers, whatever things are
true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever
things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good
report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about
these things." Philippians 4:8
When you have Messiah in
your life you have every reason to maintain a positive outlook. His grace is
upon you, so you can afford to live on the bright side, with confidence,
because:
"We know that all things work together for
good for those who love Elohim, to those who are called according to his
purpose." Romans 8:28
"All things" here means
whether we are enjoying blessings or dealing with trials, or both at the
same time (the normal state), He is working out all of those things for the
good of those who are "called according to his purpose". Living in this
reality helps to give us the confidence to face up to trials, using His Word
as our guide.

This is a place where the Torah shines for us. The Torah faces the
realities of the fallen world head on, with the instructions needed to
deal with even the worst that real life can throw at us, including
extremes like war and death. Nobody likes these things, but they have to
happen in this world. It is far better to fortify ourselves with the
truth of how our Father would have his people deal with the more
difficult realities of this fallen world, than to push away His
instructions because they speak of things that are unpleasant to think
about - and then not be ready when bad things happen. We need His whole
word to be equipped for whatever we may face as a man or woman of YHWH.
Makes sense, right? Here in these Last Days we increasingly
need this kind of instruction from the Torah, which is why Last Days
prophecy from YHWH tells us:
“Remember the Torah of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in
Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances." Malachi 4:4
The world is becoming exponentially more troubled with each passing
year. Soon
“..there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since
there was a nation even to that same time.." Daniel 12:1
With the worst troubles ever known in human history soon to be upon us,
no wonder YHWH wants us to be focusing on His Torah right now!
Deuteronomy 20 and 21 are a good example of how YHWH has
prepared His people for harsh realities such as war and death. His answers
deal with such realities of this world head on, with practical instruction.
As we read and marvel at His wisdom for dealing with the worst, it gives as
the tools to face the worst, as the worst comes into the world. While we
prefer to think on the more comfortable things, the challenges just ahead
will force us to deal with very uncomfortable things, whether we like it or
not. This is the time to buck up and focus on practical instruction from the
Torah. This is the "prepping" that can prepare us for the troubles ahead!

and 21. It's challenging material, but you will be better prepared for
giving this your consideration.
Blessings and good health to you,
Eliyahu
