Consider this:
The core problems in the
world today all revolve around the same issue - that issue is authority.
When you boil down all aspects and angles of this topic you will arrive at
one overriding question - where does rightful authority come from?
The Biblical answer to
that question is this: ".. there is no authority except from God"
(Romans 13:1). The Creator delegated authority (dominion) to man at
Creation, to be passed down to every person born in every generation.
"God said, Let us
make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the
livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that
creeps on the earth." (Gen 1:26)
Legitimate government
in the affairs of men must derive its authority from the people, since YHWH delegated authority to
the people at Creation. This fact has been understood and upheld in the
writings of Bible
believers for centuries. For example, John
