You may be wondering what this is, since this is the first time I've sent you our Tsiyon News newsletter via Substack. Well, Substack is an email newsletter platform for authors that provides some special features that can benefit our Tsiyon News readers. My favorite new feature is the ability for me to actually read my newsletter to you. This is a great way for us to connect each week in a pleasant and convenient manner you and the rest of our readers can easily enjoy.


Of course, some folks have vision problems, and being able to have Tsiyon News read to them by the author (me) of the newsletter is just what they need. However, this feature is not only for the vision-impaired. According to one source, 71% of people listening to more spoken-word audio say it’s because it allows them to multitask, so even if you are busy you can take in the latest message. And let's face it, sometimes, you may simply not be in the mood to read. Not to worry. Click a button and I'll read it to you! Pretty fun, huh?


Enough about Substack for now. Let's move on to talk about my daughter, Abigail. As you may already know, she is the director of our Tsiyon Road radio station at, as well as being the producer of her weekly podcast, Hebraic Insights in the Gospels. Trust me, this young lady knows the Gospels!


Recently we have scheduled Abigail to co-host with Michael on our weekly live video stream. This week, tonight, she will reveal her Top Pick Tsiyon message from the book of Mark. I've got to tell you, I was filled with admiration for Abby's super brain when I found out what her top pick actually is! Out of all the profound topics dealt with in Mark, she zeroed in on the topic that is most rarely taught in these times in which we live, thus, is greatly in need of being taught. Especially so, since the eternal future of absolutely every person on earth hangs on where they stand on this topic. The topic is: Real Authority. This broadcast clears up so many questions and problems. That's on our live video stream tonight. I know you will get a lot out of this.

Authority - what is the argument all about? Well there are basically two positions, each with very different outcomes. One argument on authority aligns closely with the Darwinian theory of evolution. This is the law of the jungle. The survival of the fittest. Might makes right. This is the history of the world. Whatever man or nation is the most powerful assumes the right to rule. Domination is the goal. In this scenario the powerful (today this translates into the wealthiest) belong to an elite class whose interests take priority over the interests of the common man and woman. In earlier centuries this dominance was overt and brutal with no care for how the common folk felt about the excesses and abuses of the upper class. Today the elite use sophisticated means to appear to be benefiting their peons, while actually robbing them blind and controlling everything to their own advantage.


In the 1700s another authority argument came to the fore. This argument springs directly from the pages of the Bible book of Genesis. This argument totally depends upon the sovereign authority of man's Creator. This central principle of the Republic of the United States of America, as set forth in The Declaration of Independence, states:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

By virtue of what are all men "equal" and endowed with "certain unalienable rights"? All of this hangs upon the authority of man's Creator! It is because these rights are endowed by the Creator that men and nations lack the authority to change them or withhold them so that they are "unalienable" rights.


So what do you think the chances are that the world's elite would not try to overturn God-given "unalienable" rights? Exactly zero. That's why, in 1948, the United Nations came out with "The Universal Declaration of Human Rights" (UDHR). Some of this seems to be protecting the rights of people. However, not once in the entire document does it reference the Creator as the Author of "human rights." The big difference between Creator-given rights and human rights is simply this: Creator-given rights are unalienable, and human rights are not. Unalienable means: "impossible to take away or give up: INALIENABLE" (


Of course, human rights are not unalienable. Human rights can be changed or denied by humans. Which humans? The most powerful humans, the elite humans. See how that works? Here the elite trump God's authority, or so they think.
