Nazi Origins & Government
Files
Recently, some government UFO/UAP file releases of older archived
materials have brought renewed attention to claims of German disc-shaped
aircraft. One reported FBI-file claim involved a man named Paul L. Peyerl,
who told authorities he was hired by the Nazis as a photographer to
photograph German disc-shaped aircraft during World War II. The released FBI
report on the interview even states that a photo was received from Peyerl
that he had submitted to verify his claim. The photo was not included in the
release of the Peyerl material.
Mind you, if a claim appears in a government file, that does not
necessarily mean the government verified the claim. Government files often
preserve tips, letters, reports, witness statements, rumors, and
investigative leads. A file may record that someone interviewed said
something. That is not the same thing as proving that what they said was
true.
Nevertheless, it was a real interview including an eye-witness claim
that appears in an FBI government-file context. Further, there was a photo
from the witness that the FBI reported had been in their custody. Where is
that photo now that was submitted to prove the claim, and why is it missing
from the file?
Other similar claims of a Nazi origin of flying saucers have been
made by responsible people. We don’t need to look to the stars as the source
for exotic technology.
Why the Human-Technology
Question Matters
Many people hear “UFO” and immediately think “alien spacecraft.”
But why should that be the first explanation?
The distance problem alone makes routine extraterrestrial visitation
a very heavy claim. Even the nearest stars are almost unimaginably far away
by human travel standards. To claim that beings from distant worlds are
frequently entering earth’s atmosphere requires enormous assumptions.
A secret human-technology explanation, by contrast, begins with
known realities. Nations build secret weapons. Military programs are
classified. Governments conceal research … and they lie. Scientists and
engineers push boundaries. Intelligence agencies mislead adversaries and
sometimes their own people.
Postwar German expertise really did enter American programs. More
proof is available. Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke’s The Occult Roots of Nazism
documents a lot of it. The book is described by Bloomsbury as tracing occult
and millenarian sects in Germany and Austria that influenced Nazi ideology;
National Archives records identify personnel dossiers for more than 1,500
German and foreign scientists, technicians, and engineers brought to the
U.S. under Paperclip and similar programs; the Smithsonian describes Project
Paperclip/Overcast as bringing German and Austrian scientists, engineers,
and technicians to the United States after WWII; and recent reporting on
released UFO files says they include claims about Nazi UFO-like craft, while
also noting no definitive proof of alien life. (bloomsbury.com)
Advanced aircraft and propulsion research really did accelerate
after World War II. So if some UAPs are physical craft, we should at least
consider whether they could be human - not necessarily ordinary human
technology, but hidden technology, experimental technology, or technology
developed under conditions of extreme secrecy.
This does not explain everything. It does not remove the spiritual
dimension. But it reminds us that the UFO phenomenon may involve more than
one kind of deception. There may be natural phenomena. There may be
misidentification. There may be secret military technology. There may be
psychological manipulation. There may be occult contact. There may be
spiritual deception. And there may be combinations of these things.
The world wants a simple answer: “aliens.” The pattern is more
complicated.
The Deeper Spiritual
Pattern
The Nazi/Vril/Paperclip stream points toward a different danger than
the contactee stream. The contactee stream says: “Higher beings have a
message for mankind.”
The hidden-technology stream says: “Secret knowledge gives power to
rule.”
Both streams are spiritually dangerous. One tempts mankind to
receive revelation from a forbidden source. The other tempts men to ascend
through hidden knowledge and technological power.
That is the spirit of Babel. In Genesis 11, mankind gathered itself
into one people, one project, one city, and one tower reaching toward
heaven. This was not merely architecture. It was unified rebellion. “They
said, ‘Come, let’s build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top reaches to
the sky, and let’s make ourselves a name, lest we be scattered abroad on the
surface of the whole earth.’” - Genesis 11:4
“Let us make ourselves a name.” That is the spirit behind every
kingdom that seeks unity apart from YHWH. Technology is not evil in itself.
Human skill is not evil in itself. But when knowledge, power, and unity are
joined to rebellion, they become dangerous. The Nazi world showed how
spiritualized myth, racial pride, technological ambition, and political
power can join together in monstrous ways. The UFO mythos can repeat that
same pattern in space-age language.
